We’re excited to announce that our game is officially moving forward under a new title: Knights of the Crusades.

Previously known by the working title Crusader Knights: Templars, this change reflects the broader vision of the game - capturing not just the story of the Templar Order, but the full scope of the brutal and complex world of the early Crusades. The name may be changing, but our commitment to gritty historical realism, rich narrative, and immersive gameplay remains the same.

The game starts at the dawn of the First Crusade, as you take command of a small group of knights, forging your own holy order in the chaos of war. But this is just the beginning.

Over the next two centuries, you'll expand your order into a powerful multinational force, navigating the shifting tides of history—from crusades and wars to diplomacy and finance—until your once-humble brotherhood becomes the most feared and influential organization in the medieval world.

We’re also excited to announce our partnership with indie.IO, a publisher focused on helping indie developers bring their vision to life. With their support, we’re refining CKT and reaching more players worldwide.

Even better—the demo is now live, letting you play one of the campaigns where you found and grow your Holy Order. And we’re gearing up for Steam Next Fest, where we’ll showcase new gameplay, developer insights, and updates leading up to launch.
