Difficulty Levels & Major Balance Tweaks

[p]Hey, Wall Diggers! [/p][p]We’ve been carefully following your feedback since launch. Over the past few days, we’ve been working on a major rebalance update. We've reworked enemy damage and quantity, adjusted shop prices, tweaked Leviathan difficulty, and added difficulty selection - just like in the original Wall World. On top of that, we’ve fixed a bunch of bugs and added a few helpful features. Please, make sure that you have the latest (Win. v1.0.7.342, Mac v1.0.7.27) version of the game.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Difficulty Levels
[p]Wall World 2 now features three distinct difficulty levels: [/p]
 • [p]Normal – the current difficulty after the last two updates. [/p]
 • [p]Hard – for players seeking a more intense and demanding experience. [/p]
 • [p]Insane – a true hardcore challenge for those brave enough to face the Wall. [/p]
[p]Each difficulty has its own enemy strength. On Hard and Insane, extraction transport arrival time is increased by 10 seconds. On Insane, by popular request, the spiky rolling enemy once again eats your resources, so plan accordingly! [/p][p]You can select difficulty at the beginning of a new run or change it anytime via the options menu. [/p][p][/p]
Leviathan Summon Button
[p]We’ve added a Leviathan Summon Button but use it with caution! Leviathans have been rebalanced and made even more dangerous. They represent an existential threat and the most powerful entity in the Wall World universe. Make sure you’re prepared. The summon button is available for purchase in the spider garage. [/p][p][/p]
Bug Report Button
[p]We’ve also added a convenient "Report a Bug" button to the main menu. It’s now easier and faster than ever to report any issue directly to us. [/p][p][/p]
List of changes:
[p]Balance Tweaks: [/p]

[p][/p][p][/p]
Walkthrough – Key Things to Know
[p]We’ve also gathered several key tips on how progression and combat mechanics work in Wall World 2 to help new players settle in more quickly.
[/p][p]1. Progression[/p][p]Your character and the spider mecha grow stronger not only during a run. Your success primarily depends on meta-progression. Between runs, make sure to visit Jill’s Workshop for spider upgrades and the Shop for permanent hero bonuses and new tools. Don’t hoard resources without a purpose – investments always pay off in future runs.[/p][p][/p][p]2. Stay Hydrated[/p][p]Before each run, we strongly recommend stopping by the Bar. Drinks are powerful temporary buffs for the entire expedition – for a certain amount of dust, you can gain bonuses to attack, defense, movement speed, or even resource drops. If you’re struggling with the early biomes or get overwhelmed too quickly, a couple of drinks can solve the problem.
[/p][p]3. New Upgrades[/p][p]The second part of progression is tied to missions. “Main quests” unlock key features, new modules, and spider mecha systems. “Side quests” aren’t mandatory, but they’re your way to unlock lots of new things, including weapon types, permanent spider upgrades, and even a helpful companion.[/p][p][/p][p]4. Zyrexes[/p][p]Tip #1 – undock the spider from the mine entrance during enemy waves to dodge attacks and defend more effectively. Don’t forget to use your machine’s abilities (missiles, saws, dodges, etc), which are purchased in Jill’s Workshop. Zyrexes inside the mines are dangerous too – the Honey Badger handles them far better than a regular drill.
[/p][p]5. Roguelite Element[/p][p]Starting each run without temporary upgrades is part of the roguelite genre. Temporary upgrades reset, but in Wall World 2 your progress never fully disappears: every run brings new resources, every mission moves you closer to your goals, and every purchase pushes you forward. The more meta-progression you unlock, the easier your future runs will become.[/p][p][/p][p]As always, keep drilling, keep exploring, and keep the feedback coming![/p][p] [/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p]
