[p]Hello everyone,[/p][p][/p][p]Here's a bunch of fixes and improvements for the beta branch. [/p][h3]Update availability[/h3][p]This update is still under active development. As such, it is only available if you switch to the beta branch of Vanguard Galaxy to test out these new changes. Instruction on how to install the beta updates can be found at the bottom of this post.[/p][p][/p][p]Added/Changed[/p][p]- New ship: Maul-Class Mining Barge (Mindus Holdings) - Large Drone Bay[/p][p]- New ship: Sledge-Class Mining Barge (Mindus Holdings)[/p][p]- Turrets will reset their rotation when not having a target[/p][p]- Refined materials (found through salvaging) can be put in material storage[/p][p]- Mercenary can be fired[/p][p]- Mercenary hire duration can be extended in the field[/p][p][/p][p]Balance[/p][p]- Industrial skill Material Storage Boost II (2nd) needs Material Storage Boost I (1st)[/p][p]- Changed Drometar module sizes to Large[/p][p]- Changed combat officer/crew skill to give less critical chance/critical damage[/p][p]- Reduced the amount of critical chance granted by stacking high levels of Precision[/p][p]- Enemy forces at high levels / high difficulty should include more powerful ships[/p][p][/p][p]Fixes[/p][p]- Fixed the Critical Recursion skill providing way too much chance for additional crits[/p][p]- Fix for embassy jumpgates that are hidden, but still used when setting routes[/p][p]- Fixed an issue with not being able to remove skill points in the mining skill tree[/p][p]- Fixed performance skill tree screen in some cases[/p][p]- Fixed wrong blueprints size generation causing new game to only drop large blueprints[/p][p]- Fixed hostile turrets in missions always spawning for the Corsair faction (only newly generated turrets are fixed)[/p][p]- Fixed the Redline ability (Rage stacks): Now properly provides 0.5% combat power and no longer stacks to infinity.[/p][p]- Fixed other stackable abilities (Momentum & Bastion)[/p][p]- Fixed Corsairs being chosen as an enemy faction for a mission even though you are allied with them[/p][p]- Fixed some abilities being targetable when they are not[/p][p]- Fixed secondary space stations (Canisec etc.) in the conquest area giving missions against non-hostile factions.[/p][p]- Prevented the autopilot from picking up missions that target a faction that's currently friendly to you.[/p][p]- Autopilot skill: Time Investment removed from skill tree as it was not working yet (will be soon)[/p][p]- Industry Ops space station is nog longer a valid target when in emergency travel[/p][p]- Wingman won't select your target if its an invalid target (i.e. Salvageable wreck)[/p][p]- Fix for showing stats in shipinformation when there's no turret to use it[/p][p][/p][p]And as always, if you find any annoying / interesting bugs or just want to give your opinion. We always make sure that your save games will keep working, but as long as the beta is ahead of the release, the beta save game won't work on the release version until it catches up.[/p][p]To take part go to Manage and select Properties for Vanguard Galaxy in Steam:[/p][p][/p][p]And select the open-beta under Game Versions & Betas as shown below.
