[p]Hello everyone,[/p][p][/p][p]Another update for fixing a few annoying issues. Plus some fun new stuff like the Economy skill tree's first iteration and more story missions.[/p][p][/p][h3]Update availability[/h3][p]This update is still under active development. As such, it is only available if you switch to the beta branch of Vanguard Galaxy to test out these new changes. Instruction on how to install the beta updates can be found at the bottom of this post.[/p][p][/p][p]Added/Changed[/p][p]- New ship: Ramose-Class Frigate (Obrix)[/p][p]- New ship to encounter: Meriavex-Class Destroyer (Obrix)[/p][p]- Ships tagged with a Tracking Bot travel to a more interesting environment than just empty space (small asteroid field while tracking a miner, etc)[/p][p]- Attacking a ship tagged with a Tracking Bot can spawn reinforcements of the target's faction[/p][p]- Ships tagged with a Tracking Bot now travel in a logical direction, rather than moving to a random location[/p][p]- Added a new "Trade Refined Materials" mission to Intertrade mission board, giving you the option of trading one kind of refined material for another.[/p][p]- Added the Economy skill tree! Finally you can start optimizing your trading income even more.[/p][p]- Added new side mission to unlock the Economy skilltree, and a mission to test your trading prowess.[/p][p]- Some ships will dock sideways, as they are too big otherwise[/p][p]- New story missions (ship as reward)[/p][p]- Added more time-sensitive points of interest to the conquest sector (rogue asteroid, battle wreckage)[/p][p]- Officers/Crew are now sorted by their max level[/p][p]- Changed range icon in item tooltips[/p][p]- Salvage Workshop has a new resource, Workshop Credit, you will earn this by delivering refined product to the workshop (4-6 x the value of the item) + added as a mission reward to Steel Vultures missions[/p][p]- Added bigger ships (friendly and enemy) to the final mission of the darkspacers in the 1-30 area[/p][p]- Meridia's Chosen can return to the Conquest map after being eliminated, as long as you haven't completed the necessary story missions yet[/p][p]- Isolation Chamber can now be sold to a shop (in case you accidentally craft multiple)[/p][p]- Changed modules/boosters background in personal hangar/shipyard (to better show the rarity)[/p][p]- Using a targeted ability (like Crackshot Bot) no longer also changes your ship's primary target with the same click[/p][p][/p][p]Balance[/p][p]- Umbral Hacking Tool requires an adjacent station to be at least 20% infected (up from 0%)[/p][p]- Increased the amount of materials dropped out of old cargo containers[/p][p]- Torpedo damage now properly scales with your combat powers[/p][p]- Torpedos have more health[/p][p]- Extraction Focus ability now also reduces mining power (since it increases mining yield along with salvage yield)[/p][p]- Significantly increased sell value of Structural Salvage items[/p][p][/p][p]Fixes[/p][p]- Fixed older save games incompatible with new economy changes[/p][p]- Fixed torpedo's triggering certain mission objectives[/p][p]- Fixed skilltree UI opening causing the drone loadout to unset the advanced drones[/p][p]- Possible fixes for getting stuck in a jumpgate when using fast travel[/p][p]- Fix for pirate getting removed at the jumpgate in Balam[/p][p]- Enemies in the umbral sabotage missions are properly marked as "player enemy" instead of "always enemy"[/p][p]- High Demand Industrial skill now also applies to crafted equipment[/p][p]- Disabled "toggle favourite" for some items that would lead to unintended behaviour[/p][p]- Added some missing quest markers[/p][p]- Hangar/Shipyard zoom increased (to fit certain ships)[/p][p]- Fixed ECHO traveling to destroyed space stations for missions (will be skipped until the station is rebuilt)[/p][p]- Firing a Mining Cannon at an asteroid without a core no longer destroys the entire asteroid without dropping loot[/p][p]- Fixed possibility of softlock caused by auto-completing a mission while a dialogue is active[/p][p]- Fixed a error in spawning wrong ship sizes[/p][p]- Prevented conquest skirmish battles from spawning between two friendly factions (leading to two sides in combat just hanging out and chilling)[/p][p]- Umbral ships will not spawn at stations or jumpgates, they are mysterious![/p][p]- Prevented shield/armor regeneration from showing as a full "block" of armor on the health bar, even though shields are almost entirely depleted[/p][p]- Mining and Salvage shops won't sell combat orientated equipment[/p][p]- Cleaned up the inventory view, the scrollbar should no longer block any part of the items[/p][p][/p][p]And as always, if you find any annoying / interesting bugs or just want to give your opinion. We always make sure that your save games will keep working, but as long as the beta is ahead of the release, the beta save game won't work on the release version until it catches up.[/p][p]To take part go to Manage and select Properties for Vanguard Galaxy in Steam:[/p][p]
