You need to switch to the beta branch of Vanguard Galaxy to enjoy these. Full patch notes for the update can be found below.[/p][p][/p][h3]Industrial Ops[/h3][p]We present to you a new kind of endless mode. Use your Industrial power to supply a friendly base with ammo, repair packs and even turrets to hold off the enemy. How far can you go? [/p][p]

[/p][p][/p][p]With the different Endless modes you can now earn a new currency for each of them. Use these in the shops of these factions to purchase the really fancy equipment or blueprints. [/p][p]

[/p][p]Which brings us to the new blueprints for Exotic items! These can be found in the Shops of Forge Industries. Or as a rare loot drop of the new Locked Containers.[/p][p]

[/p][p]These containers can drop when salvaging shipwrecks.[/p][p][/p][p]The Exotic Blueprints require you to gather and process Crystals, which can be found in Asteroids.[/p][p]

[/p][p]When you have gathered a lot more fancy equipment you of course want to make sure that you can tweak them to your liking. This is now possible in the Workshop, which can be found in Steel Vulture space stations of Pocket systems.[/p][p]

[/p][p][/p][p]When you find an Aspect you like you can use the workshop to upgrade your equipment or if you want to move an Aspect to another equipment. You can do that too. Beware though, the original item will be lost if you extract the Aspect.[/p][p]

Added/Changed[/p][p]- Added Activate and Deactivate buttons for all turrets[/p][p]- Clear Target button + hovering it will show what your ship is targeting + visual range per turret[/p][p]- The turret tooltip in the bottom will now show its active target as well (and a range indicator)[/p][p]- Giving the order to travel through a jumpgate will deactivate turrets for smooth travel[/p][p]- Added 2 dronebay aspects (increases dronebay size by 1/2) + 1 for hull kit[/p][p]- Added a new faction, Forge Industries, with space stations in sectors above level 10[/p][p]- Salvage poi's in pocketsystems owned by Steel Vultures will respawn (same as mining poi's)[/p][p]- Changed rewards for Bounty and Patrol missions - these now reward a currency that's specific to that mission type. Rewards can be purchased in the Bounty and Patrol shop.[/p][p]- Changed internal handling of multi barreled turrets[/p][p]- Warp Fuel is now stackable in your cargo[/p][p]- Added new drone skill which unlocks 3 (2 really) new drones: Combat Missile Drone, Salvage Harpoon Drone, and Mining Core Drone.[/p][p]- Mining and salvage missions differentiate between surface and core / structure[/p][p]- ECHO checks the current loadout better for what type of missions it can perform. (based on highest combined power)[/p][p]- Added ECHO option for Ammo Supply. You can configure for how many minutes per turret it will buy/transfer ammo[/p][p]- Some changes made to the materials in the forge/refinery, always shows amount and the bar is gone (since storage is infinite)[/p][p]- Added XP bar for crew members[/p][p]- Salvageable ship falls apart when empty[/p][p]- Changed health bars[/p][p]- Added Unit Rank system: Units now spawn with ranks that affect their stats. Balance[/p][p]- Economy: Trundar cargo capacity lowered from 5680 to 3600[/p][p]- Economy: Changed the volume of the trade goods (from 1m3 o 1-4 m3)[/p][p]- Reduced scaling damage penalty for ships with many turrets / large drone bays (ie. these should deal more damage now)[/p][p]- Changed the ammo sell value (from 100% 80% of it's buy value)- Blueprints: Only Standard and Enhanced rarities will appear i normal shops[/p][p][/p][p]
Fixes[/p][p]- ECHO now properly checks if a station has a mission board that fits the current loadout before flying there[/p][p]- Fixed typo[/p][p]- ECHO can now ignore missions that the current loadout does not support when its surface vs core / structure[/p][p]- NPC's with the grinder turret no longer set the player ship to hold position[/p][p]- Warden will now properly undock and not wait for 5 seconds for nothing at all :)[/p][p]- Clear Construction Site mission fixed so no friendly miner spawns[/p][p]- Shield Generator Pylon no longer heals ships that are temporary enemies to you[/p][p]- Prevented clicking through the Drone UI and accidentally unequipping a turret instead[/p][p]- Can no longer unequip items from the side panel to prevent item duplication glitch, sorry ;)[/p][p][/p][p]
Known issues[/p][p]- Autopilot can on long sessions sometimes cause slowdowns. We're investigating, seems to occur mostly with core mining[/p][p]- Workshop UI does not play nice with all display modes and possible positions (top of the screen transparent mode for example)[/p][p]- Equiping an item that has different armor or health stats will cause the ship to repair to the new value[/p][p][/p][p]If you find anything that should not happen or just want to give your opinion.
