Beta Hotfix 0.7.4.1

[p]Hello everyone, [/p][p][/p][p]After yesterday's bigger update, here's a few hotfixes to take care of the biggest issues with it.[/p][p][/p][p]Fixes[/p][p]- Fixed Aspects working + Workshop interaction fixes[/p][p]- Aspect, Blueprint, Lootbox will now be moved into Armory with the Move To Armory quick button[/p][p]- ECHO can also use the Industrial shop to buy ammo[/p][p][/p][p]Added/Changed[/p][p]- Removing a Aspect/Blueprint in the Workshop will put in the currently open inventory (cargo/armory)[/p][p]- Aspect Slots simplified slightly (No more aspect slot rarity)[/p][p]- Debris will now slowly fade away after a short while[/p][p][/p][p]You can find out about how to get the beta version in the news article about the beta test.[/p][p]If you find anything suspicious or just want to give your opinion. Beta Update 0.7.4

[p]Hello everyone, [/p][p][/p][h2]Beta Update 0.7.4 is here! [/h2][p]Here's a highlight of some new features found in this update. You need to switch to the beta branch of Vanguard Galaxy to enjoy these. Full patch notes for the update can be found below.[/p][p][/p][h3]Industrial Ops[/h3][p]We present to you a new kind of endless mode. Use your Industrial power to supply a friendly base with ammo, repair packs and even turrets to hold off the enemy. How far can you go? [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]With the different Endless modes you can now earn a new currency for each of them. Use these in the shops of these factions to purchase the really fancy equipment or blueprints. [/p][p][/p][p]Which brings us to the new blueprints for Exotic items! These can be found in the Shops of Forge Industries. Or as a rare loot drop of the new Locked Containers.[/p][p][/p][p]These containers can drop when salvaging shipwrecks.[/p][p][/p][p]The Exotic Blueprints require you to gather and process Crystals, which can be found in Asteroids.[/p][p][/p][p]When you have gathered a lot more fancy equipment you of course want to make sure that you can tweak them to your liking. This is now possible in the Workshop, which can be found in Steel Vulture space stations of Pocket systems.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]When you find an Aspect you like you can use the workshop to upgrade your equipment or if you want to move an Aspect to another equipment. You can do that too. Beware though, the original item will be lost if you extract the Aspect.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]We hope you will all enjoy these new features. Rewards can be purchased in the Bounty and Patrol shop.[/p][p]- Changed internal handling of multi barreled turrets[/p][p]- Warp Fuel is now stackable in your cargo[/p][p]- Added new drone skill which unlocks 3 (2 really) new drones: Combat Missile Drone, Salvage Harpoon Drone, and Mining Core Drone.[/p][p]- Mining and salvage missions differentiate between surface and core / structure[/p][p]- ECHO checks the current loadout better for what type of missions it can perform. (based on highest combined power)[/p][p]- Added ECHO option for Ammo Supply. You can configure for how many minutes per turret it will buy/transfer ammo[/p][p]- Some changes made to the materials in the forge/refinery, always shows amount and the bar is gone (since storage is infinite)[/p][p]- Added XP bar for crew members[/p][p]- Salvageable ship falls apart when empty[/p][p]- Changed health bars[/p][p]- Added Unit Rank system: Units now spawn with ranks that affect their stats. [/p][p]- Added a visual reactor overload indicator[/p][p]- Added Small Hailfire Missile Launcher blueprint[/p][p]- Added more robust descriptions to targeted abilities[/p][p]- Added a new type of infinite mission, Industrial Ops, to the Forge Industries space stations starting at level 10.[/p][p]- Salvage now has the chance to drop Locked Containers, what do they hold? :)[/p][p]- Certain percentage stats will now have decimals, to have a wider range[/p][p]- Added new Retire button to Patrol, Bounty and Industry board - retire to reset your rank to 1, and receive a bag of commendations as reward.[/p][p]- Added Dog Tags as a lootable item, can be exchanged for Commendations at Canisec, Orsanon Security, and Forge Industries[/p][p]- Added a 10% Yield bonus if your equipment can salvage or mine both Surface and Core layers (turrets only)[/p][p]- Added the Workshop (which you can find at Steel Vulture spacestation after a certain level), here you can upgrade items (and rename them!)[/p][p]- Added "blank" items (lacking an Aspect) to the salvage shop in conjunction with the Workshop[/p][p]- Exotic blueprints are now able to be found and crafted[/p][p]- New crafting items: Crystals which are able to be mined out of asteroids and needed for exotic blueprints[/p][p]- Blueprints for Crystal Refined Products added to Forge Industries shop[/p][p]- Changed Medium shield crafting materials to reflect the small shield materials[/p][p][/p][p]Balance[/p][p]- Economy: Trundar cargo capacity lowered from 5680 to 3600[/p][p]- Economy: Changed the volume of the trade goods (from 1m3 o 1-4 m3)[/p][p]- Reduced scaling damage penalty for ships with many turrets / large drone bays (ie. these should deal more damage now)[/p][p]- Changed the ammo sell value (from 100% 80% of it's buy value)- Blueprints: Only Standard and Enhanced rarities will appear i normal shops[/p][p][/p][p]Fixes[/p][p]- ECHO now properly checks if a station has a mission board that fits the current loadout before flying there[/p][p]- Fixed typo[/p][p]- ECHO can now ignore missions that the current loadout does not support when its surface vs core / structure[/p][p]- NPC's with the grinder turret no longer set the player ship to hold position[/p][p]- Warden will now properly undock and not wait for 5 seconds for nothing at all :)[/p][p]- Clear Construction Site mission fixed so no friendly miner spawns[/p][p]- Shield Generator Pylon no longer heals ships that are temporary enemies to you[/p][p]- Prevented clicking through the Drone UI and accidentally unequipping a turret instead[/p][p]- Can no longer unequip items from the side panel to prevent item duplication glitch, sorry ;)[/p][p][/p][p]Known issues[/p][p]- Autopilot can on long sessions sometimes cause slowdowns. We're investigating, seems to occur mostly with core mining[/p][p]- Workshop UI does not play nice with all display modes and possible positions (top of the screen transparent mode for example)[/p][p]- Equiping an item that has different armor or health stats will cause the ship to repair to the new value[/p][p][/p][p]If you find anything that should not happen or just want to give your opinion. Vanguard Galaxy Beta 0.7.1 now available

[p]Hello everyone,[/p][p][/p][p]We have some fun news to share. From this moment on our new developments for Vanguard Galaxy can be closely followed by playing the open beta. We plan to release weekly or biweekly, depending on when features are far enough along to present them to you. For the live version we will of course keep looking for issues that need fixing to keep the experience there as stable as possible.[/p][p][/p][p]To take part go to settings for Vanguard Galaxy and select the open beta in the dropdown as shown below. [/p][p][/p][p]Save games saved while in the open beta version will not be backward compatible with the live version until the moment that live catches up with the beta version. [/p][p][/p][p]Our first release on the beta channel is version 0.7.1. Detailed patch notes can be found below. But we want to highlight a few of the bigger features here.[/p][h3]Drones[/h3][p]Drone bays have been reworked to allow you to select a mix of types to bring with you. This will make drone builds more flexible and allow you to be ready for any challenge you find on your adventures. [/p][p][/p][p]We're curious to see what you can do with these little friends. And more to come to improve them further.[/p][p][/p][h3]Structural Salvage[/h3][p]Another big change in this update is the addition of structural salvage. The Grinder turret can pull a salvageable ship in and salvage its internals. We hope you salvagers out there enjoy this one.
