  • [p]Emergency jump handled better, resets when docked rather then checking current HP[/p]
  • [p]Core ores mined by driller drones are now picked up by the supported miner[/p]

  • [p]Fixed bug with changing to a ship without engine throwing an error. This is also a possible fix for ship yeeting of the dockingpad when changings ships[/p]

Update 0.7.5 Gathering Storm

[p]Hello everyone, [/p][p][/p][h2]Update 0.7.5 Gathering Storm is here! [/h2][p]This is our first big update of Vanguard Galaxy's early access period. There are a lot of overall improvements and fixes. We highlighted some of the bigger features of this update below. And a brief look into the future development.
[/p][p]If you want to dig down into all the patch notes that have led to this update since the previous live version 0.7.0.11, we listed them at the bottom of this update. And if you are still on the beta branch, feel free to stay there, this update will come to live and beta.

We want to thank all of you that have been checking out the improvements on our beta branch. Many a bug has been squashed thanks to you.[/p][p][/p][h2]The changes[/h2][p]Drone Loadout and new drone types[/p][p]You no longer have specific drone bays for one career. You can mix and match your drones in the Personal Hanger. And the missile and structural salvage drones have been added.[/p][p][/p][p]Salvage workshop[/p][p]Find a salvage workshop to improve your gear. Reroll stats, level them up or replace aspects. Just make sure to bring enough cash. :)[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Industry Operations[/p][p]Put your industrial prowess to the test at the new Forge Industries space stations. How long can you help the outpost survive?[/p][p][/p][p]Infinite Missions commendations[/p][p]The Patrol board, Bounty board and the new Industrial Ops now give you commendations, which can be used to buy better gear and blueprints in their respective shops.[/p][p][/p][p]Fight a new enemy and enemies can have ranks[/p][p]When you enter the last few sectors of the current Galaxy Map you will run into a new enemy. [/p][p]Plus enemies now have a rank that determines how hard they are to fight.[/p][p][/p][p]Structural Salvage[/p][p]You can now completely salvage ship wreckage by using the new Structural Grinder turrets. And salvage has the best chance to drop Locked Containers, travel to your nearest Steel Vulture station to find out what they ehm contain...[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Exotic Gear + Crystals[/p][p]If you want to level up your gear even more, we added Exotic blueprints.[/p][p]In order to craft all this tasty gear, crystals can now be found in asteroids.[/p][p][/p][p]ECHO Improvements[/p][p]ECHO has gotten some more options and gotten better at using a mixed loadout in the field. And if you want you can override the automatic detection for the activity to choose. ECHO will also buy fuel if you have the "Warp Fuel Assist" skill active.[/p][p][/p][p]Thruster and Engine sound[/p][p]We added the first sounds for engines and thrusters. And Aspect items are too.[/p][p]Some new weapons and aspects[/p][p]More ships to choose from on new game (2 ships per path)[/p][p]Skill trees can be easily changed (right click to unassign a skill point)[/p][p]Having a yield above 100% will give you additional resources[/p][p]

[/p][h2]The future[/h2][p]While there is a lot of fun stuff in the current update, we have a lot of large updates planned for Vanguard Galaxy. One big next step we are very excited about will be about the next area, which will be added in the Conquest update. The factions have been relatively peaceful towards each other and the player, but that will change...

The player will be able to choose if they will support a faction (yes, pirates as well) and help them in their push to conquer territories. This can be accomplished through your favorite mode of play. Be it mining, salvage, combat or trading.
[/p][p]Of course, this next area comes with a new level cap, going up to 60. You can find/craft your first legendary gear, hire mercenaries and make your crewmembers more useful. Bigger ships are coming, new stations, more weapons, a bunch of new skills and lots more...

It's great to see so many new players as well. We're very happy to be able to bring our game to so many people. We're are excited for what's coming in future updates.
