Hotfix v2025.005.001 is now live
A new hotfix version of 001 Game Creator is now live, fixing a few issues that popped up in the latest version. Most importantly, we fixed the "Critical Error #-1" error various users experienced.

-Fixed incorrect arctangent calculation resolving holding point and sprite script rotation issues and further fixing geometry use value “Direction from Point (ArcTan2)” and math use value “Arctangent” from returning incorrect values.
-Fixed regression crash when using color interpolation.
-Fixed very tall tiles from disappearing when they are near the bottom of the screen.
-Made it not warn about missing “Return Value” when editing a sub script.
-Fixed not being able to provide large values for sprite pose rate.

-Fixed shop interface errors when displaying items that don’t have matching scripting ID and display name.
-P2P Demo: Fixed IP address being used when hosting and added option to use a specific IP address.
-Increased Android API version to 34.
-Fixed crash when resizing sprite sequence/tile-set collision editors too small.
-Fixed scripting error when cancelling inside equipment interfaces.
-Fixed dedicated server builds from incorrectly using OpenGL after the game has loaded.
-Fixed not being able to reference an object with a name that starts or ends with spaces when advanced option “Allow case-insensitive and whitespace-untrimmed object references.” is checked.
-Renamed “Advanced Game Settings” to “Legacy Compatibility Settings” and made some clarifications inside the window.
-Fixed Tab key not activating when a field with text input is selected.
-Fixed “Close Connection” event on the client causing future “Connect to Game Server” events to no longer report connection errors.
-Fixed crash when editing variables that have a collection stored in them via executing custom event in editor.
-Fixed not rendering 3D models on certain older Android devices correctly due to graphics chip not reporting shader issues related to number of bones.
-Fixed items’ “Maximum Value” for “Statistic Impact on Target” from not properly changing the actor’s maximum stat.
-Fixed not being able to use “Run Custom Event” in editor on a newly created custom event.
-Added “Reverse X/Y/Z Tile Rendering” map properties options allowing layered alpha-blended tiles.
-Made it error more clearly when a parameter is missing for regular events.
-Enhanced RPG: Fixed message boxes from rendering behind menus.
-3D Templates: Fixed rendering issues with some lower objects.
-Fixed crashes in various editors in a project with any unnamed resources.
-Fixed crash when receiving an invalid network message.
-Fixed losing changes to parameter arguments in script editor when modifying variables/switches/collections/tables.
-Fixed actors with “Process Physics” unchecked from receiving damage.
-Enhanced RPG: Fixed title screen from not properly disabling when starting game.
-Fixed crash from overflowing player’s number of steps when velocity is set to a high value.
-Fixed crashes from actors with too high of a velocity.
-Fixed map editor grid issues and crashes after building game.
-Made it display images with invalid dimensions when preparing resources for devices.
-Made it display image slot when preparing resources for devices.

-Fixed taskbar icon disappearing after returning to main editor window.
-Fixed “Wheel Up” and “Wheel Down” mouse inputs from being backwards.
-Fixed “Currently In Party” for party members from being ignored when its template has “Allow changes in placed actors” unchecked.
-Fixed projectiles from not properly stopping when impacting non-solid actors when set to stop.
-Fixed tiles with shadows from occasionally disappearing when they are near the top of the screen.
-Fixed not being able to disable map volume size warning.
-Fixed comparison branches with booleans/ranges from hiding the use value when not within proper values.
-Fixed clearing of range/color parameter use values from not correctly applying defaults.
-Fixed geometry use value “Direction from Point (ArcTan2)” and math use value “Arctangent” from returning incorrect values.
-Fixed setting actor’s direction via scripting from not trigger collision events correctly.
-Improved JDK locating for Android builds.
-Fixed Android keyboard on text input fields from not accepting all keys from modern keyboards.
-Fixed Android keyboard done key from not firing input script.
-Fixed Android keyboard backspace key from not always working.
-Made Android/iOS keyboard come up if an input field is clicked on in addition to just when it is selected.
