How does the process of entering the study look?

Before the actual research, the participant is requested to fill out a twenty-five page agreement between them and Neurem Labs. It contains a brief summary of the Dreampainters project, payment information, and potential health risks.
After that, the participant may begin the actual preparation:

First step - the selected participant undergoes extensive brain scanning and a physical assessment to ensure maximum compatibility with the research equipment.

Second step - If all requirements are met, the participant is connected to a laboratory apparatus that captures electromagnetic brain waves, and thanks to our advanced technology, visualizes them on researchers’ screens.

Third, and final step before the examination begins - The participant is administered a sleep-inducing substance (which is earlier agreed upon), and gradually led into a state of slumber.
Usually all the preparation and dreaming takes about 8 to 10 hours.


Due to the individuality of each participant, we cannot foresee how exactly the dreaming during the examination process may look and feel like. To ensure credible results, Neurem Labs cannot interfere with it. The dreams often depend on the participant's creativity level, their wants, needs, memories, and many more aspects of their life.

Neurem Labs does not take responsibility for the participants’ experiences, since they are fully dependent on their individual minds. Regarding individuals’ mental state, the dreams that occur may not always be pleasant. We recommend you take a careful approach and take great care of yourself at least a week before the study.
