Hey Rifters,
Wow, that was one hell of a weekend! Thanks to everyone for your support, comments, questions, and feedback. With your efforts, we could test at a scale we could never have done internally! We had almost 10,000 unique players throughout our weekend, and most of you came in on Saturday and Sunday, where we just kept picking up steam (no pun intended)!
After our Thursday data, we identified a few key weak points and came in fast with our first ever hotfix, reducing the amount of crashes by about 25% for Saturday and Sunday. Not only that, but we were able to hot drop new quests, add a new way to find Resin (because a lot of you asked us about it on Discord), as well as several fixes for key pain points of our players.
So, to those of you who came to play our Alpha Playtest, thank you so much for helping us identify the issues we could've discovered only with your help. We'll be digging through the 100+ bugs/crashes/feedback/improvements we've uncovered through our backend, Discord reports, and several dedicated community members passing feedback on privately.
Thanks to all of you, we now have a clearer picture of what we need to fix for Lost Rift to offer the experience we're aiming for.
