Lost Rift Next Fest Demo is Available Now

The Alpha Demo contains upgrades, improvements, and additions based on community feedback from our May playtest, and we can’t wait to see you all take on Bonkey once again.[/p][p][/p][p]As part of the celebrations, we’ve updated our Steam Page with five new screenshots.[/p][p][/p][carousel][/carousel][p][/p][p]Spoiler Alert: We have a new trailer premiering at the PC Gamer Showcase this Sunday, and we will update this news post to embed it below once it’s public.   • [p]Using the invite code from someone other than the original camp creator can sometimes cause an infinite loading screen[/p]
  • [p]Repeatedly inviting camps to expeditions can cause a soft lockout of expeditions (restart the camp as a workaround)[/p]
  • [p]Reloading weapons causes durability loss (reload with care)[/p]
  • [p]Arrows and bolts from enemies do not leave trails in the air[/p]
  • [p]Players in DBNO still have interaction prompts even if they cannot do so from the downed state[/p]
  • [p]"Monitor" setting does not change the monitor displaying the game.[/p]
  • [p]Sometimes loading into Camp Island will send notifications about all completed quests[/p]
  • [p]Eating from the inventory menu and trying to move during the animation can cause jitter[/p]
  • [p]Goats are jerks, even during gunfights - looking into ways to chill them out[/p]

  • [p] The Settings menu has received several updates and enhancements, including improvements to brightness, ray tracing, and other options.[/p]

  • [p] We have added key remapping options for some actions[/p]
  • [p] We have added several new armor pieces and outfits[/p]
  • [p] We’ve added new quest lines[/p]
  • [p] New Furnace station is available - smelt that ore into ingots, my precious[/p]

  • [p] We have updated several weapons in feel and appearance[/p]
  • [p] Wade has a lot more trade options now[/p]
  • [p] More decor items for your personalized camp[/p]
  • [p] The Communication Tower got a makeover and is freakin' gorgeous now[/p]

[p]Balance[/p]
  • [p] We’ve completed a full weapon, armor, and loot balancing pass[/p]
  • [p] Made balance changes to the repair system[/p]
  • [p] More zip lines, zip zip and away![/p]
  • [p] Our PVE AI is now smarter and more reactive - wear armor 😉[/p]
  • [p] We have renamed Resin to Tree Sap, and it is now more plentiful.[/p]

  • [p] We’ve improved visual and audio feedback when drowning. Stealth drowning was a serious problem in our playtest. 😅[/p]

  • [p] Gunfire can now be heard from further away - 3rd parties rejoice![/p]
  • [p] Lowered ambient sound of the ocean[/p]
  • [p] Tweaked player action sounds to be more prominent[/p]
  • [p]Added more variety to ocean sounds and fixed overlaps or missing sounds (the ocean was literally blocking the sounds of the ocean!)[/p]
