Wildgate Ship Name Challenge
Ready to make a name for yourself in the Reach? (Literally? 🔥)
Introducing SHIP-A-PALOOZA—our very first community challenge in which players like you (yes, you) will help us add four new names to Wildgate's in-game ship customization tab!
The challenge will consist of two key phases:

[h2]🛳️ PHASE 1: SUBMIT YOUR NAMES[/h2]
Got an idea for a cosmically-cool ship name? Then drop your shields, tap that afterburner (maybe activate a clamp jet or two), and cruise over to our submission form. Just keep the following in mind:
To be eligible for voting, all ship names must be submitted by Monday, May 26, at 7:00am PDT. Check out our Official Rules for additional details, restrictions, and guidelines!

[h2]🗳️ PHASE 2: CAST YOUR VOTES[/h2]
Once the submission period ends, the hijinks shift into hyperdrive.
From the pool of eligible entries, we’ll select 32 ship names to face off in a single-elimination, bracket-based tournament. Ship names will be paired up into individual brackets and players will vote on each bracket to determine a winner. The winner of each head-to-head bracket will advance to the next round, until we’ve identified the top four names to add to the game!
Voting begins Wednesday, May 28 in Discord.
The champions of our SHIP-A-PALOOZA challenge will be revealed the week of June 2.
Each of the final ship names will be added to the game after its official launch. The second, third, and fourth placed names will be included in our “Random Name” pool, while the first placed name will be featured in our persistent ship name list. 🤩
Good luck, prospectors! But don't delay—engage those creative engines and ship out.

- Names must be under 20 characters
- No inappropriate language or copyrighted material
- Only one name per participant is permitted
