HAPPY 2026 & 1ST MAJOR UPDATE INFO

[p]Hey everyone!
[/p][p]Happy new year from the whole team! Thank you for all the support, feedback, bug reports, and cozy shop screenshots. In a couple of months, we’ll be kicking off the year with a new update focused on progression, competition, and a nice chunk of community-requested improvements.[/p][p]Below is an overview of what’s coming next:[/p][p][/p][h2]New Systems & Improvements[/h2]
  • [p]Leaderboards: We’re adding leaderboards so you can compare your shop’s performance with other players — including things like overall shop ranking and customer satisfaction.[/p]
  • [p]More Progression (and faster leveling): We'll be extending the max shop level, and we’ll also be speeding up the leveling pace to better match the new levels and make progression feel smoother.[/p]
  • [p]Better Cardboard Boxes Management: We’ve heard you loud and clear: this update includes improvements to how cartons/boxes are handled and managed, aiming to make the flow smoother and less fiddly.[/p]
  • [p]Important Community Requests: A set of highly requested changes and QoL fixes are planned as part of this patch.[/p]
[p][/p][h2]New Content (the fun stuff)[/h2]
  • [p]Decorations & Displays: Expect new shop decorations, including large display pieces, cardboard-style decor, and new ways to showcase your collections in the store.[/p]
  • [p]New Customers: We’re adding new customer types to bring more variety to your daily shop life.[/p]
  • [p]New Licensed Miniatures: Of course, the next update will introduce new figures[/p]
  • [p]New Products to Sell: You’ll get new shop items to stock and sell, including practical store items and more hobby goodies (posters, books, painting supplies, basing materials, and more).[/p]
[p][/p][h2]When?[/h2][p]You can expect this update to land around the end of February / early March.

  • [p]Overhauled XP progression to make leveling feel smoother and more consistent across the game.[/p]
  • [p]Added XP gain when painting miniatures.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed several situations where employees were not gaining XP correctly.[/p]
  • [p]Employees assigned to the cash register now exclusively handle this task.[/p]
  • [p]Employees no longer restock a product over a different one already on the shelf.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some instances where employees could get stuck or frozen.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a rare issue where the cash register could become locked if you took over an employee mid-task.[/p]
  • [p]Employees assembling and painting miniatures no longer generate income while the shop is closed.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue preventing multiple employees from assembling, painting, or playing wargames at the same time.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed employee XP bars sometimes appearing larger than intended.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed some wargame values that didn’t match their description texts.[/p]
  • [p]If you only have one squad available, it is now selected by default in wargame.[/p]
  • [p]Player now throws one fewer die during wargames.[/p]
  • [p]Prevented wargame assault scores from overflowing in some situations.[/p]

  • [p]Added a new tutorial explaining furniture and how to recycle it.[/p]
  • [p]Added a “Reset tutorials” button in the settings.[/p]
