PATCH 1.2.a: Major fixes, performance improvements & some new items!

Thank you for an incredible launch for PEAK! 
[h3]We’ve been tackling a bunch of bugs and responding to reports these past few days to allow as many players to peak as possible. We’ve just pushed another patch to address further issues that should help a variety of player reports! [/h3][p][/p][p]Now, we’re gonna take a bit of a break to celebrate as a team and have a well-needed rest. [/p][p][/p][h3]PATCH NOTES:[/h3][p][/p][p]Important Stuff:[/p]
  • [p]Added new items that spawn on the island: Shelf Fungus, Remedy Fungus, and Magic Bean.[/p]
  • [p]Added Invert X and Y settings to the options menu.[/p]
  • [p]Added better backend logging to help us continue to diagnose crashes and performance issues.[/p]
  • [p]Reduced the intensity of the Poison screen effect to help photosensitive players.

[p]Bug Fixes:[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where Cure-All only worked on the third use.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed issue where backpacks near the campfire could despawn when lighting the campfire.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed issue where a cooked Egg wouldn't properly count towards the Gourmand badge, making that badge impossible (my apologies to those who found this out!!)[/p]
  • [p]Cooked items will now show up as cooked in the backpack UI.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed bug where you could carry many players at once under certain circumstances.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed issue where push-to-talk could break when travelling to the island from the airport.[/p]
[p]Balance Changes:[/p]
  • [p]The bees' reign of terror is over. Significantly adjusted beehavior:[/p]
    • [p]Poison damage and bee speed are much more reduced when NOT angry (ie the hive has been stolen/destroyed)[/p]
    • [p]Bees will no longer continue stinging you when your status is already over 100%[/p]
    • [p]Bees will tend to leave unconscious players behind and return to the hive instead of guarding their bodies forever.[/p]
    • [p]Bees will forgive you faster if you drop the hive and leave them alone[/p]
    • [p]Reduced bee speed and aggro distance by a bit generally.[/p]
  • [p]Capped the max poison you receive from a Tick at 50%[/p]
[p]Quality of Life:[/p]
  • [p]Boosted mic volumes a bit by default.[/p]
  • [p]The death timer will now speed up if you are in the fog if you’re unlikely to recover from your current injuries.[/p]
  • [p]Lowered the Scout Statue in the Caldera temple.[/p]
  • [p]Added new ambient SFX to the Tropics and the Peak.[/p]
