PUBLIC BETA BRANCH FOR COMMUNITY TESTING
Hi Scouts!
So, let's talk about stability. The sheer number of people playing this game means that we're often hearing about hardware or network-specific issues that our internal testers have a lot of trouble catching because, well, there aren't 100,000 of them. Recently this resulted in a patch going live that made a number of players totally unable to play the game, and we had to roll it back immediately. That's bad.
To help with stability of future major patches, we're going to be opening up a public beta Steam branch. This will allow anyone who wants to play with new, possibly unstable features to do so safely, and report issues to us before they go live to the greater community.
If you don't want to do this, you can also just hold tight and wait for full release updates!
HOW TO GET ON THE PUBLIC BETA TESTING BRANCH:
That will unlock the beta that you can now select in the beta participation drop down.
IMPORTANT:
PLEASE post any bug reports either in our DISCORD dedicated channel OR using the new BETA Bug Reports Steam forum! If you report a beta bug as if it's a main branch bug, you'll make our lives a LOT harder and we will send the scoutmaster after you!!!!!

- To access the PEAK public beta go to steam and find peak in your library.
- Find the "gear" icon or right click the game and click "Properties" and a new window will appear.
- In the new window find the beta section and enter the beta password: playpeakbeta
That will unlock the beta that you can now select in the beta participation drop down.
