[/h3][p]We know it’s been quiet for a while… but we’ve been busy cooking up some stuff.

🆕A brand new update for Wrap House Simulator is on the way and this one’s all about NEW content like you asked for.

🍋 Here’s a little sneak peek. Some assets are still unfinished, but you get the idea:

A small but impactful patch is here. Some QoL improvements, some bug fixes. Here’s what’s new:

[h2]🆕 Features & Fixes[/h2]

🆘 Unstuck Item Button
You can now use this button to drop items stuck in your hand during sudden lag spikes.
The networking system is still evolving, but this quick fix should be a lifesaver for now.

🐶 Dog Can Now Be Fed
There’s a new doghouse just outside the shop.
Grab the food and go feed the good boy.

🎹 Keyboard Detection Bug Fixed
Sometimes the keyboard was misdetected, breaking keybindings and player movement.
This has now been fixed.

🥶 Drinks Stay Cold Now
When loading a save file, drinks in the fridge will now stay cold.
Previously, their temperature was resetting—now resolved.

🎥 Missing Tutorial Videos Added
Missing tutorial videos have been added to the in-game computer.
Clearer guidance for new players.

🧠 Waiter UX Update
If there's no waiter hired, the “Press E to command waiter” prompt won’t show up when placing a receipt on a tray.

🧊 Visual Noise Fixed in Large Fridge
Some visual glitches inside the fridge have been smoothed out.

💰 Money Balance Adjustments
Minor but meaningful changes have been made to the in-game economy.

[h2]⚠️ Known Issues[/h2]
We’re aware that some players are having trouble connecting to each other in co-op. We're working on a proper fix.
In the meantime, please try the following:

• Close Steam completely, and disable any VPN you might be using.
  
• If possible, restart your router (optional but recommended).
  
• Log back into Steam, go to Steam Settings → Downloads → Download Region and make sure you and your friends have the same server selected.
  
• Verify the integrity of the game files.
  
• Launch the game and try again.

🌐 Better Networking on Unstable Connections
More improvements for players with bad internet or packet loss.

• Objects stay more in sync between players.
  
• Less teleporting, less chaos – more wrapping!
  

🤝 Slimmer Character Collisions

• Character hitboxes reduced for better movement.
  
• Easier to pass by friends in tight kitchens.
  

🖼️ Resolution Apply Button Glow-Up

• “Apply” now pulses and expands when settings are changed.
  
• No more missing it by mistake.
  

🐶 You Can Now Pet the Dog

• The dog is no longer neglected – go ahead, give it love.
  
• (Feeding support coming soon!)
  

🧹 Fire Worker Button Improved

• Visual design updated to be more clear and visible.
  

🔁 R Key for Object Rotation

• Rotate objects using R as an alternative to right-click.
  
• Useful for varied keyboard setups.

🛠️ Network Optimization
We’ve increased bandwidth limits and tick rate for multiplayer sessions.
This should result in less desync and smoother object syncing especially for players with slower connections.

👷‍♂️ Fire Your Workers
You can now fire employees directly from the tablet!

• If you fire someone, you’ll need to pay again to rehire them.
  
• Want to disable them without spending money? Just set their Work Speed to 0 instead it works like a free toggle.
  

⏱️ Cashier Speed Fix
The cashier felt broken to many players because their default speed was super slow.

• Now they serve customers every 6 seconds instead of 20.
  
• You can still adjust their work speed from 1–40 seconds using the slider.
  Should feel much more responsive now!
  

📦 Order Generation Rebalancing
We’ve reworked how orders appear in both modes:

• In Singleplayer, later levels now offer a smoother progression curve.
  
• In Multiplayer, order pacing is more balanced to match the number of active players.
  

😇 Fairer Patience System
Customer patience is now smarter and fairer:

• Early levels give you more breathing room
  
• Later levels scale patience to match the increasing order complexity
  

🖥️ DX11 Launch Option
We’ve added a new ""Launch with DirectX11"" option when starting the game.

• If your graphics card has trouble with DX12, now you can use DX11.
  
• Much smoother experience on older or integrated GPUs.

💡 Highlighting Bug Fixes

• Fixed a bug where some screens or objects stayed highlighted when they shouldn’t
  
• No more blinking distractions!
  

🧂 Singleplayer Money Buff

• We’ve increased money gain in Singleplayer Mode to make solo play more rewarding.
  
• Treat yourself you’re doing all the work, after all 💰

• In some cases, movement keys get mixed up – keyboard detection doesn’t always work properly (especially after device/controller switches)

🎮 Singleplayer Mode
A brand new mode for those who want to manage the wrap empire solo!

• Staff is cheaper

❗ Note: You can’t invite friends while in Singleplayer Mode.

⏸️ Pause in Solo
Whether you’re in regular solo or Singleplayer Mode, you can now hit ESC to pause the game anytime. Take five, wrap boss. 🛑

🐱 You Can Pet the Cat
Yup. It’s official. You can now pet the cat. 🐈❤️

🍖 Cat Bowl Accepts Döner Paddle
Feeding your furry companion with a döner paddle? Totally valid now.

🎨 UI Visual Improvements

• Floating numbers are now rounded
  
• Various small UI polish to improve visual clarity
  

🧂 Sauce Containers Now Save Properly
Sauce containers will now retain their contents between sessions. No more mysteriously empty bottles!

🧠 Improved Waiter AI
Waiters no longer break after table upgrades. They’re finally behaving like professionals. Almost.

🌐 Network Fixes

• Items no longer hover mid-air or sync incorrectly
  
• Backend network optimization for smoother sessions
