Thank You for 5000+ Players – First Patch Released!
[p]Hey everyone![/p][p]I want to start by saying a huge thank you to everyone who played the Blossom: The Seed of Life demo, shared feedback, and supported the game since release. The response has been incredible, and I’m genuinely grateful for the amount of players who took the time to play, comment, and review. Seeing so many people enjoying Blossom has been both surreal and motivating.[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you all for being part of this journey![/p][p][/p][p]This is the first patch for the demo, and it focuses on improving gameplay flow, fixing early issues, and making the overall experience smoother. Below are a few of the biggest highlights from this update.[/p][p][/p][p]Mining and storing items while riding the rover
You can now mine and collect resources without leaving the rover. Just drive up, start mining, and collect resources and they automatically go straight into your storage module. This makes exploration and gathering much smoother (and a lot more fun).[/p][p]
[/p][p]Pin any blueprint or recipe on screen
You can now pin blueprints or crafting recipes directly to your screen. This makes it easy to track what you need while mining, crafting, or building.[/p][p]
[/p][p]Performance optimizations (20–30% FPS increase)
The game now runs significantly better across all areas. Expect a noticeable 20–30% boost in frame rate depending on your setup, especially around larger bases and high-object areas.[/p][p][/p][p]New game database entries
Four new database entries have been added to make early progression and crafting clearer. They cover blueprint disks, power generators, encryption keys, and emergency power systems.[/p][p][/p][p]And that’s just the highlights. Below you can find the full changelog with all the fixes, tweaks, and improvements included in this patch:[/p][p][/p]
Version 0.1.5
[p]New Features[/p][p]• New database entries added:[/p][p] – Crafting (Encryption Key focus)[/p][p] – Blueprint Disks (Installation & usage)[/p][p] – Emergency Power (Using Blossom’s backpack to power machines)[/p][p] – Fuel Generators (How to generate power)[/p][p]• Power Running Out mission now auto-starts when ship battery drops below 250 units.[/p][p]• Power Running Out mission now displays the ship’s current battery level.[/p][p]• You can now pin recipes from the Crafting Station or Printer to the top-left corner of the HUD.[/p][p]• Printing now starts in Build Mode for mouse & keyboard users, allowing camera zoom and free placement.[/p][p]• Compass now tracks discovered blueprints and Temperature Station coordinates with Info Module V3.[/p][p]Improvements[/p][p]• Terraform Monitor redesigned:[/p][p] – No longer spawns blueprints automatically.[/p][p] – Now spawns all blueprint disks at once.[/p][p] – Enlarged model with power socket repositioned for easier use.[/p][p]• Power overlay now shows ship’s power status on nearby sockets in addition to extenders.[/p][p]• Temperature Station control panel can now be placed in all four ship corners.[/p][p]• All menus:[/p][p] – Scroll arrows made more visible and clickable with mouse.[/p][p] – Active tabs now highlighted with background color.[/p][p]• Heater T1 placement improved.[/p][p]• Doors no longer open automatically while inside vehicles.[/p][p]• Flashlight disabled inside vehicles.[/p][p]• Wagon and rover batteries now prioritize recharging, instantly consuming base power like Blossom.[/p][p]• Rover now remembers Boost Mode toggle state.[/p][p]• Rover now has another power port in front for charging purposes.[/p][p]• Mining possible while riding rovers with mounted mining lasers.[/p][p]• Items can now be stored in wagon storage modules while riding.[/p][p]• Storage T1–T3 snapping area reduced to prevent invalid placement.[/p][p]• Battery T1-T3 now has an additional power port.[/p][p]Bug Fixes[/p][p]• “Regain Control of the Station” mission text updated to Insert Encryption Key into Control Panel.[/p][p]• Uranium Rod description typo fixed.[/p][p]• Deconstructing certain items no longer sends resources flying.[/p][p]• Fixed being stuck in certain exploration bases.[/p][p]• Water cables now display proper color.[/p][p]• Battery T2 flashing white during printing fixed.[/p][p]• Fixed recipe discovery when backpack is full and items are replaced.[/p][p]Technical & Performance[/p][p]• Unity updated to latest LTS version addressing security vulnerability.[/p][p]• Database videos transcoded for improved playback (Steam Deck support).[/p][p]• Optimizations:[/p][p] – Resource deposit processing[/p][p] – Icy object rendering[/p][p] – Deconstruction system[/p][p] – Ice rendering performance[/p][p]• Overall performance improved by 20–30% FPS gain on average.[/p][p][/p]
Coming Soon:
