Thank You for an Amazing Next Fest! (New Patch Is Live!)
Hey everyone!
[p][/p][p]With Steam Next Fest bringing so many new players into Blossom: The Seed of Life, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you who tried the demo, left reviews, shared feedback, reported bugs, and supported the game. Seeing so many people explore the world, stream the demo, and discuss the game has been incredible.[/p][p][/p][p]I want you to know that I am actively listening to all the feedback gathered across Steam, Discord, social media, and in-game reports.[/p][p][/p]
Building fixes and improvements
[p]Building placement and rotation have been refined for smoother construction, including free rotation for finer alignment and improvements to camera behavior during placement. Several issues affecting machines, ports, and interactions when moving structures have also been fixed.[/p][p][/p]
Cycling between actions with TAB
[p]When multiple interactable objects are close together, you can now press TAB on keyboard and mouse (or LB + RB on controller) to cycle between available actions. This makes interacting with ports, machines, and items much easier without fighting for the perfect angle.[/p][p][/p]
Licensed music options for creators
[p]A new notice has been added to the loading screen to remind streamers and content creators that licensed music can be disabled if needed, making it easier to record and stream the game safely.[/p][p][/p][p]Alongside these highlights, many stability fixes, controller improvements, UI adjustments, performance tweaks, and quality-of-life changes have been made throughout the demo.[/p][p][/p][p]Your feedback is shaping this game every single day, and I truly appreciate the time you spend helping improve it.[/p][p][/p][p]Full patch notes:[/p]
Version 1.0.3

General
[p]- Added Switch Action key (TAB) key remapping option to keyboard config[/p][p][/p]
Gameplay
[p]- Added range information for power and water extenders in the printer menu[/p][p]- Added missing sound effect when a machine is moved[/p][p]- Low power visual effects toned down[/p][p]- Low power audio level reduced[/p][p]- When Unlock All Blueprints is enabled in Creative Mode, Missing Blueprints mission now auto-completes if active[/p][p]- When multiple interactables are close together, the game now shows TAB (keyboard/mouse) or LB + RB (controller) to cycle between actions[/p][p]- Building rotation now works by holding the rotation buttons instead of tapping[/p][p]- Building rotation is now free instead of fixed-angle snapping, allowing finer alignment[/p][p]- Camera now zooms out slightly when selecting a machine to print or when moving a machine to make placement easier, then returns when printing or canceling[/p][p]- Camera no longer moves while placing a blueprint for keyboard and mouse users so no longer accidental blueprint movements[/p][p]- Added Remove All Items action to all storages[/p][p]- Item names are now shown for the selected item when using Backpack Mode[/p][p][/p]
Fixes
[p]- Fixed ports becoming non-interactable when machines with sockets are moved between indoor and outdoor areas[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you again for playing, reviewing, and supporting Blossom during Next Fest![/p][p]– Thorin[/p]
