VonGarland Castle awaits...

[p][/p][h3]new build is up! you can now go beyond the mayor battle and into the castle.[/h3][p][/p][p]Things off the top of my head:[/p][p]*lots of Performance improvements in the first section of the game (runs at a good 35-38 fps on my older steam deck when testing)[/p][p]* 6 new puzzles [/p][p]*4 new mini bosses[/p][p]*2 new enemy types [/p][p]*new achievements![/p][p]*new voice acting for Madison and the Crimson Duchess [/p][p]new unlockable items/power ups :[/p][p]Small Axe[/p][p]Steam Knuckles[/p][p]Super Sp [/p][p]High Jump boots [/p][p]1 new jacket & tons of costumes can be found in the castle and via hidden areas if you return with new power ups[/p][p][/p][p]I'm still testing and fixing bugs when I find them, I also will be going over the whole castle to improve performance on older devices same as I have been doing in the first section of the game.[/p][p]will also likely be adding in a bit more story stuff/cut scenes and extras within the new sections.[/p][p]if you find bugs and issues or just have ideas on things you might like to see added in, please post in the community and I'll get back to you[/p][p][/p][p]as always, feel free to drop a review if you feel like it/ or tell any friends you think might enjoy the game to check it out ! every bit helps[/p][p][/p][h3]Thanks for all the support and feedback so far! bug fixes

small fixes + grenades added + wide screen option added!

[p][/p][p]*added the option to change to ultra wide screen on the main menu, I tested a bunch, but if anyone with wide screen plays and finds spots where something is out of view or the camera is acting funny just let me know[/p][p]*grenades added, you can now find grenades hidden in some locations. Added some more stuff

[p]added a new event which I was hoping to get in on launch day, but I ran out of time:[/p][p]I improved the look of the gas station and added a the new NPC "Janet" [/p][p]if you get to the gas station fast enough you can get the crescent key which gives you access to the crescent heights apartments. if you take too long to get there it instead runs a cutscene and you don't get the key. This is inspired by that classic RE2 zombie Brand game secret :)[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]More changes:[/h3][p]*added a few jump scare enemies [/p][p]* added a walk, if you press lightly while using an analog control you can walk/run, and then double tap to sprint[/p][p]*added "cozy sweater" costume item [/p][p]*new achievement added for getting the Crescent heights apartments key[/p][p]*changed first areas to load cleaner/faster and added lots of extra details to the backgrounds and foregrounds to help it have more depth.[/p][p][/p][p]*options highlighter now shows for all languages.[/p][p]*fixed glitchy cam in the boat house. (hopefully for the next chunk added in Oct)[/p][p][/p][p]I'd love to hear feedback about everything, but I definitely would like to know people's thoughts on map markers showing where to go; they do that in modern games, so I COULD add it. but the classics didn't tell (YELLOW PAINT!!!)
