Forsaken Valley DEVLOG: 0.0.8 version

We are glad to announce, that we have published closed 0.0.8 version available for testers. It is already available to download. Thanks to everyone who started the testing process!

**0.0.8 Version, what is new:**

You can now activate Rage, Pain and Fear and their abilities.
FEAR:
When enemies surround you in drastic amounts, your FEAR will grow.
When you are Overpowered by FEAR, your Damage and Accuracy will drastically drop, but you will receive 3x bonus to Evasion and Speed, also you can unlock Shadow Mode in the future and become invisible for a short period of time.

RAGE:
When you kill enemies, your RAGE will grow.
When you are Overpowered by RAGE, your Armor and Resistance will drastically drop, but you will receive 3x bonus to Attack and Critical Chance, also you can unlock "Cleave" and "Splash" attack in the future.

PAIN:
When you receive damage, your PAIN will grow.
When you are Overpowered by PAIN, your Agility (Evasion, Speed and Magical Resistance) will drastically drop, but you will receive 3x bonus to Armor and +30% to HP based on Max HP, also you can unlock Damage Return in the future.

Effects starting to decay if you do not maintain it for more than 10-15 seconds.

Fixed several bugs which were found in 0.0.7 version.

  • Re-designed Level System
  • Now mobs give random amount of XP in specific range
  • Re-designed Quarry location
  • Added player Skills
  • Improved controls and mobs


  • Fixed a bug with inventory being possible to open when game is paused
  • Fixed a bug when nature objects could spawn in water
  • Fixed a bug when nature objects could spawn and block an entry to the room
  • Fixed a bug when mobs and player could stick to the edges of walkable areas
  • Some other minor bug fixes

We are glad to announce, that we have published closed 0.0.5 version available for testers. It is already available to download. Thanks to everyone who started the testing process! 5 more players have applied for pre-demo testing, and 4 of them were allowed to proceed. For now we close the applying process and will not proceed anymore, thanks for participating in the test!

0.0.5 Version, what is new:

  • New location to explore.
  • Added 2 new mobs to fight with.
  • Added "Stamina", Running and Evading system.
  • Improvements of starting location
  • Improvements in mobs AI
  • Added nature generation
