[Demo v0.1.5]

I've made a few adjustments based on player feedback, I hope these serve to improve your experience. While this patch also includes a few bugfixes, some of the technical issues are still being investigated. I hope the balances and additions serve to make your experience more fun, so without further ado, here are the patch notes:

Changelog


[h2]Adjustments:[/h2]
  • Added a small numeric display showing the recovered value when you use a consumable while exploring the dungeon;
  • Added a small pointer to the bestiary indicating when you unlock partial information about the enemy;
  • Improved the 'Rest' interface by showing your current HP and MP on it;
  • Changed the colored area of the Feline's eyes;
  • Added a mouseover display showing the item description on the 'Consumables' menu;
  • Added a mouseover display showing the description of the equipped weapon skill;
  • Now when your health is below 25%, the numbers will be colored red (while exploring the dungeon);
  • Changed the location of the "Junk Buyer" store to the Town menu;
  • Added a small dialogue after you complete the "Slime Dungeon", to show that you've finished the Demo's content;
  • Changed the level cap of the Demo from 99 to 15;
  • You can now pin up to 3 quests to track their progress while you explore the Dungeons;
  • Added a new tab to the Dungeon Exploration side menu, showing your pinned Quests;
  • Added a description when you hover your chosen "Gift" icon on the Character Creation;
  • Added a new cursor option to the "Options" screen;


[h2]Balancing Adjustments:[/h2]
  • Rebalanced the "Guard" Skill to be more effective earlier in the game;
  • Rebalanced the "Power Guard" Skill;
  • Increased the effectiveness of the "Peasant Uprising" Skill;
  • Rebalanced the "Primal Scream" Skill;
  • Increased the duration of the "Sword's Dance" Skill;
  • Increased the effectiveness of the "Battle Cry" Spell;
  • Adjusted the scaling of the "Fire Weapon" Spell and increased it's duration;
  • Adjusted the scaling of the "Iron Will" Spell;
  • Decreased the effectiveness of the "Magic Shield" Spell and increased it's duration;
  • Decreased the effectiveness of the "Smoke Screen" Spell and increased it's duration;
  • Increased the duration of the "Stone Skin" Spell;
  • Decreased the effectiveness of the "Strong Magic Shield" Spell;
  • Increased the duration of the "Accursed Skull" item effect;
  • Increased the duration of the "Dung Ball" item effect;
  • Decreased the price and increased the duration and damage of the "Lacerating Knife" item effect;
  • Decreased the price and increased the duration and damage of the "Poisoned Knife" item effect;
  • Decreased the price and increased the damage of the "Throwing Knife" item;
  • Increased the duration of the "Rusting Powder" item effect;
  • Increased the duration of the "Voodoo Doll" item effect;
  • Small Stones now have a small chance to stun enemies on hit;


[h2]Bugfixes:[/h2]
  • Fixed a small visual bug when highlighting certain fields during character creation;
  • Fixed a bug that caused stats to change incorrectly when refreshing an already applied buff or debuff;
  • Fixed a bug showing that the pet didn't level up even when it did in the "Rewards" screen;
  • Fixed playtime still showing up when deleting a save file;

[Demo v0.1.4]

Just a quick hotfix for a issue preventing players to properly play the demo.

Another small update adding a few requested features plus some bugfixes.

  • Added dialogue to boss fights (when entering fights and defeating bosses);
  • Added a way to compare shop items to equipped items while inside the shops;
  • Added an icon that shows up when the game autosaves;
  • Increased the number of bleed stacks that bleed based skills inflict;
  • Added a small tutorial after character creation;
  • Added a new NPC to the Inn: Yulia, the Innkeeper;
  • Removed the "skip intro" prompt, added a skip button to the intro in place;
  • Changed the skill of the "Purple Heater Shield" to "Shield Bash";
  • Added a new item to the General Store: Milk;

  • Fixed a bug that caused certain buffs to last a turn longer than intended;
  • Fixed a bug causing the name randomizer to not work;
  • Fixed the Caps Lock button not working on the Pet Rename interface;
  • Fixed some items displaying the incorrect value when using them during battle;
  • Fixed a bug when canceling interface after purchasing a spell;

Demo Update - v0.1.2

Update v0.1.2 is here with a small list of important bugfixes and adjustments that will carry over to the final game. Here's the list of changes:

  • Added keyboard shortcuts to the Town Map screen;
  • Name can now be inputed directly via keyboard on the name select screen;
  • Added randomize buttons to character creation;
  • Reworked the "Channel Spells" interface;
  • Reworked the "Magic" and "Skill" interfaces when in combat;


[h2]Bugfixes:[/h2]
  • Fixed a crash when cancelling out of the confirmation screen on the "Reallocate Stats" menu;
  • Fixed a bug that happened when trying to replace a status ailment with one of the same kind on the enemy;
  • Fixed a bug causing stats to decrease when leveling up on specific conditions;
