You’ve known each other for quite some time, and she’s one of the few people who truly understands how mysterious this place is.[/p][p][/p][p]Before the city even rises from the ground, she sets up her temporary research camp - eager to uncover the island’s countless secrets. As you explore, discover new Mokitons, and bring her rare materials, she’ll reveal more and more about the island’s tangled history, the power that flows through it, and what you can truly achieve here.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Research Center[/h3][hr][/hr][p]The Professor will work in the Research Center, the heart of your city’s scientific progress. If you’ve been following our devlogs, you’ve already seen glimpses of this building: it’s where new technologies are tested, and the next stage of the city’s evolution begins.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Crazy or maybe "unconventional"?[/h3][hr][/hr][p]When it comes to personality, the Professor is all about focus and precision. She has a mind wired for numbers, formulas, and data and while her sense of humor might be… unconventional, she’s not cold. [p]Hello Tamers![/p][p]In this devlog, we're taking you behind the scenes to showcase our progress on the turn-based battle system! We'll be covering the UI, animations, system mechanics, and more. Let's dive in! 🙂[/p][p][/p][h3]UI in Progress[/h3][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]When working on the UI, we followed a simple principle: "minimum distractions, maximum information." We want you to be able to make strategic decisions in a split second.[/p][p]In the new UI, everything has its place:[/p]

• [p]On the sides, you'll find the team rosters with their key stats.[/p]
• [p]At the bottom, we've placed the shared Team Energy bar - a resource you'll have to manage carefully each turn.[/p]
• [p]Above the characters, status icons hover, so you can instantly see who is buffed and who is weakened.[/p]

[p]Our goal is an interface that is intuitive from the very first battle, yet provides all the data needed to plan advanced tactics.[/p][p][/p][h3]New Animations[/h3][p][/p][p][/p][p]What's a battle without some proper explosions and spectacular skills? Our priority right now is adding more "juiciness" to the gameplay. Every attack, every hit, and every dodge needs to feel impactful.[/p][p]The screenshot shows an effect for one of our basic attacks. We're working to make even the simplest actions feel spectacular and fun. Explosions aren’t just his weapon, - they're part of his very being. His cannons, built into his fiery form, make him a relentless adversary  to his foes. With every shot, he detonates in bursts of flame and sparks, [/p][p]Releasing waves of destructive force. Holding this immense power, this Mokiton is both unstable and unstoppable, a living storm of fire and fury. [/p][p][/p][p]See this wild machinegun Mokiton! He strides into battle wielding a pair of powerful machine guns, ready to lay down suppressing fire and control the fight. Fast, fearless, and fiercely loyal, Mokiton sticks by your side through every skirmish in the Arenas, turning tight situations into decisive victories.[/p][p][/p][h2]New building are coming [/h2][p][/p][p]There would be no Tamer Town without a variety of buildings in the city-builder feature. As we continue to expand their range, we’d like to introduce two new buildings.[/p][p][/p][p]Recovery center[/p][p][/p][p]Whether your Mokiton got hurt in a fight or you simply want to treat him to a relaxing spa day – this is the perfect place to do it.[/p][p][/p][p]Research Center[/p][p][/p][p]In this building, you research new Mokitons and uncover more about your creatures. It’s an essential step, as we aim to evolve and expand our heroes to prepare them for epic battles in the Arena![/p][p][/p][h2]Our residents[/h2][p]Here’s a sneak peek at the early concept art of our ladies – each with their own distinct personality and style.
