Gravebound PvE Playtest - March 26

[h3]The Resistance needs you![/h3][p]On March 26, we’re opening a new Gravebound playtest built around an important shift in the game’s direction. Gravebound is evolving into a more social PvE experience, focused on players fighting hostile appliances - also known as the Clankers, together.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]This playtest pushes Gravebound further into what makes it special:[/h3][p]🤝 Unified Co-op Experience: PvP is now disabled. Everyone in the Wasteland is friendly, encouraging players to cooperate, regroup, and survive together during runs.[/p][p][/p][p]🎒 Shared and Personal Progression: Some systems now reward teamwork through proximity, while others stay individual. EXP and kill directives are shared only with nearby players, while resources and Shield Cells remain personal pickups.[/p][p][/p][p]🌩️ Storm Event - New Core Loop: A deadly storm now closes in from all sides of the map, forcing players inward toward The Observatory, a new safe zone at the center of the event.[/p][p][/p][p]⚔️ Structured Combat Phase: Once the storm closes, the Observatory becomes an active combat zone. Enemy troopers begin spawning from capsules, creating a central event phase before players return to exploring, looting, and scavenging across the Wasteland.[/p][p][/p][p]We want to test how this new direction feels,  and your feedback will help shape what comes next![/p][p]

Over the past months, the game has evolved significantly thanks to your feedback and ongoing support. As we prepare for our Early Access launch in the coming months, we’ve decided to retire the public demo and focus fully on building a deeper, more complete experience.

Gravebound Playtest: Arsenal Uprising February 28th

[p]This event takes place entirely inside the public Steam Demo. Simply download or update the Demo and jump in during the event window.[/p][p]
On March 28th we’re hosting our biggest Gravebound playtest yet, focused on combat escalation, new content, and meaningful performance upgrades.[/p][p]This build introduces:[/p][p]• Brand new guns with distinct feel and power profiles
• New enemy types that force different tactical decisions
• In-session enemy scaling that ramps intensity the longer you survive
• Major performance improvements for smoother firefights and better stability[/p][p]The goal is simple: push the systems hard.[/p][p]We want you breaking builds, stress testing scaling, and giving us honest feedback on how the new arsenal feels in real chaos.[/p][p]Gravebound is still in active development. Expect rough edges. Expect bugs. Expect balance shifts. That’s the point.[/p][p]Jump in solo or duo. Survive longer. Extract richer. Gravebound Public Playtest

We're excited to announce a weekend long playtest, open to any and all!

Available from Friday, August 8th @ 1PM EST - to Sunday, August 10th @ 8 PM Est.
Join us on Discord to praise, complain, or just hang out - and don't forget to RSVP for the Playtest event!



You should know this is a very early stage playtest.
...And we mean very. Expect broken things, missing features, placeholder art, and moments of chaos. But underneath the ash and rubble, you’ll get a first glimpse of the core systems that power Gravebound:

  • Weapons and Armor upgrades
