Update 1.4.5: Spells, bug fixes and more
[p]Hello adventurers! đ This update fixes a few bugs and also adds some features that improve the game. Itâs a small update before introducing the story of the Emerald City, so everything is solid and ready for the new chapter! [/p][p]Also added:[/p]
- [p]In the shops, you can now buy two new spells: Magical Armor and Water Armor. These spells create an armor around Tamzyn with a set amount of points that block damage. Once those points run out, the armor disappears. They protect against different types of damage (Magical Armor blocks physical damage, and Water Armor blocks fire and energy). Get both spells by doing jobs and saving up money â youâre going to need them! đĄď¸đ§[/p]
- [p]Now, when thereâs a bad environmental condition, youâll be informed while camping, and see how long it will last.[/p]
- [p]On the Loot screen, you can now see how many coins are in the pile of gold. đ°[/p]
- [p]On Loot, you can use items youâre carrying instead of just dropping them to make space. So now you donât waste anything. If your backpack is full, you no longer have to throw things away â you can use food or potions to free up space. [/p]

Once the armorâs points are depleted, it disappears. Magical Armor protects against physical damage, and Water Armor protects against fire and energy. - [p]On the Loot screen, the pile of coins now shows how many coins it contains, with a random amount between 5 and 35. đ°[/p]
- [p]On Loot, you can now use items youâre carrying instead of dropping them. So if your backpack is full, you donât have to throw things away â you can eat food or drink potions to make space. [/p]
- [p]Player status (sick, poisoned) now appears as text above the adventurersâ image on the map, in addition to color indicators.[/p]
- [p]In the Jobs screen, the word âquit?â now appears, making it more intuitive to decide whether to keep or leave a job.[/p]
- [p]Added ambient phrases during game loading, to support psychological immersion. These are not clues â theyâre more like short poems.[/p]
- [p]Recompiled due to a Unity security fix. It didnât affect my version. All versions of the game are safe and donât use internet or external data, except for connecting to Steam for achievements.[/p]
- [p]Fixed some UI issues on the Exploration and Story screens for Windows.[/p]
- [p]Fixed combat bugs that caused double attacks.[/p]
- [p]Fixed: healing spells and other non-combat spells werenât consuming mana.[/p]
- [p]Several improvements to make the gameâs beginning more solid.[/p]
- [p]The dryad Cassandra has been renamed to Florine, to avoid confusion with Tamzynâs mother.[/p]
