Progress so far: I got the chapters and quest engine ready

[p]Hi adventurers! :)
This is to let you know what to expect and where I am. For now I don't have a game update, because what I am doing to create the engine for the many updates that I'll post later! :)

On the last week and this weekend, I worked intensively until I got the engine for chapters finished. It may have some bugs yet, but it already works![/p][p]So now I am going to do this:[/p]
  • [p]Populate the game with the main story and quests.[/p]
  • [p]Populate everything with stories and quests in different places, and good and bad events.[/p]
  • [p]Add secondary quests that you can do or not as you wish.[/p]
  • [p]Add stories for the interaction and relationship between the heroes.[/p]
[p]So this way I add more drama, adventure, and depth. Now it's the writing and images part what I have to do, and build it all into the logical pieces that my programming uses.[/p][p]With all this, the world will come to life even more! :)[/p][p]I want the characters to be relatable but admirable, with their virtues and flaws, their vulnerabilities and strengths. I think many of us miss heroes with which we can identify but still be ideal, heroic and have greatness. The story also has to be the story of a couple, of their true love, and the strength to overcome the problems that separate them.[/p][p]This is the purpose of Caverns and Dryads: have fun, make you feel heroic, have good vibes, and hopeful message. That, and killing a lot of monsters, but also sometimes even make friends with them. Appreciate the beauty in dangerous places. [/p][p]Thanks a lot for your fantastic reviews you left me this week, and for all the participation in the community hub discussions, and for playing it! :) You really make me so happy and encouraged to give you the best I can! :)[/p][p]
PD: the illustration of the advancement is the one I made this week. I posted it in Artworks too.

Feel free to share any thought here, specially about what do you expect of Tamzyn and Sioul to be. How do you see or imagine their personality? It's an amazing topic, we will talk more about it soon. [/p]

Shaping the story!

1.1.2 bugfix

Hi! :)
This is just a bugfix. I am now working on adding stories and quests on the weekend.

Version 1.1.2 - June, 2025

- Change on stamina: when it reaches zero, it removes a point from life as usual, but you won't die of it, although it puts you in a difficult situation because you may die from any accident or combat.
- Fix of typos in English tutorial stories.
- Fixed path from the Underground Forest back to Verdant Ruins, which was broken so you couldn't get back!

Here's the list of what's new if yo don't:

Version 1.1.00 - June, 2025
----------------------------
- Now you can BUY AND SELL your loot in the cities' shops!
- New spell on sale on shops of the cities: Acidball!
- New wepon that you can find at cities' shops: ball and chain.
- Now you will be able to buy weapons at shops. No one wants to buy yours, though, because they are used. Maybe at blacksmiths in near future.
- Inventory shows main weapon (equiped) and secondary (not equiped) and you can swap between them clicking on any of them. Also, there's the weapons button to see the main weapon detailed stats.
- You can now swap your weapons in combat and use your inventory in the middle of combat, for drinkingpotions or change your weapon to the one that can harm the monster (or try!)
- Finding a new weapon in the dungeons now lets you choose to swap it with one of your weapons (main or secondary), or just continue walking.
- You can now re-enter the city in which you are in, without having to leave. Money is the only limitation for you there.
- Changed the icon on Windows for settings from a musical note to a cog, that is more conventional.
- Minor bugs.
