Cue Club 2 Update

Hi everyone,

We have another Cue Club 2 update for you today. It's been in development for quite a while, taking in lots of ideas you gave us. There are many exciting new features including some fun new venues to explore. We hope you like it!

  • Introduction of 3D Halls with a spectating audience. There are 4 different themed theatres including Cue Club, Basement, Cocktail and Penthouse. Go to Options > Match Settings > Venue. All tournament matches are played in the halls, and halls are unlocked when you earn new membership cards in Bar Challenge mode. The audience are interactive and give applause for good shots, sigh when the cue ball is accidentally potted, and cheer enthusiastically at the end of a big match!

If preferred, there is an option to disable applause from the Audio menu. Also, theatre spectators can be allowed or disallowed in practice mode by going to Options > Match Settings > Practice > Spectators.

  • Killer Pool now supports up to 4 players on local-multiplayer using any combination of human or AI opponents. Go to Play Game > Quick Match > Killer. Then select the player type (human or virtual player).

  • 2 Player local games (human vs human) are now set-up from the Quick Match menu.

  • Option to change the distance of the camera behind the cue ball in 3D mode. Go to Options > Display Settings > Cameras > Distance to Ball (3D). This can also be set in-game.

  • Table light intensity can now be set in-game. See Options > Visual Effects > Lamp Brightness.

  • Improved support for different monitor and graphics card refresh rates including 60, 75, 90, 120, 144, 165, 180 and 240Hz.

  • Option to modify AI navigation speed and reaction time, go to Options > Match Settings > Virtual Players.

  • In 2D mode the arrow keys and WASD keys can be used to make micro adjustments to the aiming target.

  • Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented the secondary aiming line from appearing on long shots with low power.

  • Fixed an issue that occasionally allowed the camera to move behind walls in 3D mode.

  • Solved a bug that very rarely would allow a ball to pass through a pocket and off the table.

  • 2 new chalk colours added - Burgundy and Navy Blue.

  • More realistic ball and table shadows in 3D mode.

  • Improved Multiplayer championship trophy design.

  • Various visual enhancements to menus and user interface.

  • Other minor fixes and improvements.

Thanks again for your support in helping us to continually refine the game. As always we welcome your feedback :)
