Alchemy Factory Q&A before Release

[p]Alchemy Factory will be released in Early Access on December 12, 2025. We want to answer some questions from the community, so that you can play Alchemy Factory more smoothly and clearly.[/p][p][/p][p]Q: Basic information of Alchemy Factory[/p][p]A: Alchemy Factory will be released in Early Access on December 12, 2025, at 15:00 CST (UTC+8) on Steam. Early Access is priced at $17.99, with a 10% discount available for the first two weeks.[/p][p][/p][p]Q: Why Early Access?[/p][p]A: Alchemy Factory still has many features worth adding that we believe will bring entirely new gameplay experiences. However, due to our limited team size, we need more time to develop them. Therefore, we have chosen Early Access to allow players to experience the game first, while we continue to enhance and polish the experience through iterative updates.[/p][p][/p][p]Q: Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?[/p][p]A: Based on our development cycle for new features, we estimate that Alchemy Factory will remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months. However, if we have more creative ideas or decide to rework certain gameplay systems, this period may be extended.[/p][p][/p][p]Q: How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?[/p][p]A: We plan to optimize existing gameplay mechanics, and some UI elements may be redesigned. Most importantly, we plan to add significant new features, such as the Rail System. This was an idea we had early in development but could only implement after launch. The Rail System will offer much higher transport capacity than Conveyor Belt, and players will even be able to ride the trains to tour their factory. We also have several conceptual gameplay mechanics in mind.[/p][p]We will share these in our upcoming roadmap and adjust them based on player feedback.[/p][p][/p][p]Q: Can I inherit the save data to the Early Access version?[/p][p]A: Due to technical issues, save data from the Demo version will not be transferred to the Early Access version. Meanwhile, we will remove the Demo from Steam after the Early Access version launches.[/p][p][/p][p]Q: Will Alchemy Factory support Steam Cloud and Achievement?[/p][p]A: Yes.[/p][p][/p][p]Q: Will Alchemy Factory support Steam Workshop?[/p][p]A: Alchemy Factory will not support Steam Workshop when Early Access version launches, in the future, we will consider it and allow blueprints to be uploaded and downloaded via Steam Workshop.[/p]
