Good Boy Public Playtest is Live!!!
Welcome to the Playtest!!!
[p][/p][p]First and foremost, Good Boy is a COOP game! If you don't have any buddies in our playtest, no worries! We invite you to come join our Discord, where you can find other players.[/p][p][/p][p]Second, if you signed up to be a playtester, and haven't been granted access yet, stay tuned! We plan to update this build often, and we want to make sure we have the option to add fresh eyes when we need them, so we will be letting folks in on a first come, first serve basis as we roll out updates. We'll let everyone know when we're granting access to another batch of players[/p][p][/p][p]Finally, we'd like to encourage you to make liberal use of the feedback form linked in the Main Menu! You can fill this out as many times as you like, so don't be shy. We're opening playtests super early because we really want to hear what you think! The link to the form is in the lower right, you can click to access or scan the QR code.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Good Boy: Inglorious Death

[p]Hi folks!  Jessica here (producer over at TPG).  We really want to keep everyone in the loop during development of this game, so we’re going to try to be better about regularly sharing the utter nonsense we get up to during development.  [/p][p][/p][p]Right now one of our big struggles is balancing where the game’s danger comes from.  My personal death ratio is 1 to the theoretical enemy, roughly 200 to my teammates, who are armed with nothing but a couch and a lack of directional sense.[/p][p]
[/p][p]Who knew sofas were that deadly?
[/p][p]We’re planning on getting our first public playtest up and running SOON, so all of you can experience the joys of getting squashed by your fellow burglars.  I’m hoping you’ll send me some screenshots.  I’m starting a collection.[/p][p]
Meanwhile, feel free to let us know if you’ve got specific questions/feedback/whatever.  Good Boy is really exciting to us, because we feel like it’s an agile enough development process that we can actually respond to what the community likes or doesn’t like.  That’s a heady feeling, so don’t be shy about sharing. [/p]
