Kasia's mission received an adjustment. Now you just have to pet her, not feed her.

Reports came in about players getting stuck when this occurred. You won't get stuck anymore.

✦ 🎅🏻 Added Bicycle third person camera (toggle on "C").

There's no better way to see the world around you! Toggle that third person camera and mesmerize over your new ride.

✦ 🎅🏻 Added Flashlight.

We're finding Alan Wake with this one. 🔥

✦ 🎅🏻 Added Voice Chat.

What? You really thought you need to learn sign language? Props to those who know it (I don't).

✦ 🎅🏻 Added Customization.

You can now customize your character in lobby and in game. A few hats are locked, but you can unlock them by completing achievements or getting limited time items.

✦ 🎅🏻 Added new limited time Christmas side quest.

Unlocked after rescuing Architect.

Ah... the sun is rising, and the bum menace continues. What better time to talk about our new MAJOR UPDATE, Gluten Free Fappé, than now?

We've been hard at work behind the scenes (or should we say piles) to finish the new overhaul for Bum: Revenge. In these patch notes, all the bums out there will be introduced to several new mechanics, gameplay and graphics changes. You will have the days of your life going through the streets.

Without further ado, let's see what has been cooked for the community.

[h2]🍺 Map Layout[/h2]
[h3]Physical map, forest upgrades and more![/h3]

That random piece of paper that you found next to the trash was actually a treasure find after all. You will now be able to look at it and see exactly what this place is all about.

All players will now have access to a map by using the corresponding hotkey. This should help massively with the general player navigation and to let you know where your destination is.



Additionally, the environment also got a lot of changes (e.g., forest and new visuals) to make your life as a Bum a little bit better.

Sometimes violence is indeed the answer (for legal reasons, this is a joke) which means that you will show who is boss way better than before.

Now with better animations, AI reactions, VFX, SFX etc.



[h2]🍺 Throwing Mechanic (Upgrade)[/h2]
[h3]I have the power![/h3]

Grabbing props is one of the first mechanics you encounter in Bum: Revenge. You will most likely feel the need to... you know... throw them, so with that, throwing items should feel less annoying compared to before now!

Instead of items floating in front of the player, they’ll now be properly held in the character’s hands.



[h2]🍺 New Vehicle: Bicycle[/h2]
[h3]Making my way downtown.[/h3]

All hail the mighty 2-wheeler!

We finally added a vehicle so players can now move their radiators much faster. After unlocking the bicycle, the player can customize it and add modules to it to improve its storage system.



[h2]🍺 Lobby Overhaul[/h2]

Things are better with friends, so the lobby got some shining love as well. Here's a quick showcase:

Last but not least:

🥤Story Adjustments: Changes in the existing story to make everything more interesting/engaging.
🥤District System: Earn reputation by doing missions to unlock new features and possibilities in each district.
🥤Perks and Abilities System: Players can now earn XP to improve stats or unlock new abilities and items.
🥤NPC Animations: NPCs now have improved animations across the board.

And many, many, MANY bugs that have been squashed by us. Including the achievements issues that some of the players have reported in the past.

[h3]Game Start[/h3][p] - We've seen that some of you have problems with our game randomly crashing. We added 3 options to start Bum: Revenge - DX11 (the most stable, optimized but looking poorly), DX12 (the standard one), and Vulkan (Experimental option, has some problems but it shouldn't crash on machines which have problems with DX12).
[/p][h3]Dialogues[/h3][p]- We added black bars animations when the dialogue starts and ends. [/p][p][/p][h3]Graphics[/h3][p]- We started upgrading our graphics, you'll surely notice the improvement.[/p][p]
