The Lair: Meet Your New Home

TMNT: Empire City - Dev Diary #4

[p]When the Turtles want to visit the streets of New York, all it takes is a pop of a manhole cover – but for the Cortopia team, our trip took a little more planning.

This past month, we boarded a plane in our home city of Stockholm, Sweden bound for New York Comic Con – and behind closed doors, 250+ attendees got their first-ever look at the combat of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City. And while I know you’re eager to see it too, we couldn’t help but want to be a part of that time honored Comic Con tradition of “you had to be there.”

But, that doesn’t mean we can’t drop a hint or two as we recap our incredible week in New York.

Check it out 👉 https://www.cortopia.com/tmnt-empire-city-dev-diary-4/[/p][p][/p][p]In the lead up to launch, we'll be sharing further insight and behind the scenes of the development of the first TMNT game to come to VR. Be sure to join our official Discord, follow us on social, and wishlist the game.[/p]

Dev Diary #3

[p]Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is all too often thought of as big action and silly gags – and while you’ll definitely find both in the series, at its core there’s a deeper story about brotherhood, about interpersonal dynamics, and about feeling the weight of something more than yourself. To communicate that effectively, you need to tell a story – and that story needs to be said by performers who understand the characters inside and out. So without further ado, we're proud to announce the main voice cast for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City[/p][p][/p][p]Check out the full Dev Diary #3 here, including a first exclusive audio clip! 👉🔗 https://www.cortopia.com/tmnt-empire-city-dev-diary-3/[/p][p][/p][p]In the lead-up to the launch of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City in 2026, we will provide you with insights into the game's design and production through a series of developer diaries, wishlist to stay up to date, and follow our socials![/p]

TMNT: Empire City - Dev Diary #2

[p]The rooftops of New York are such iconic environments for the Turtles, so using them for navigation became a top priority for us. When designing our movement system for Empire City, our north star was to help players feel like a Ninja Turtle who grew up in New York, leaping from building to building with a sense of style and speed. We want Empire City players to feel that, over time, they have a command over every nook and cranny of the city just like Leo, Donnie, Raph, or Mikey would.
