Update 0.91.1 - Tweaks Fixes

Hey everyone!

Thanks for the continued reports!
I have released an update that should fix the most recent and most immediate issues.

I am now working on the next update which will, among other things, improve loot filters and Anomaly layouts to make for a smoother experience overall.

Here's today's update notes:

0.91.1:
Difficulty:
  • Smoothened the curve of resistance penalty somewhat through the mythic difficulties (still caps at -50% on Mythic X)
Fixes:
  • Fixed several issues with the Templar's Shield Throw/Boomerang/Spiral/Shatter skills
  • Fixed various text typos and clarified Spring Pods mastery description
  • Fixed getting stuck at the end of the Crumbling Reliquary
  • Fixed not getting the Greater Rune achievement when applying the last rune to an equipped item
  • Fixed oversized "clickboxes" on loot
  • Fixed being able to roll 3x True Legendary items in the transmuter for the random legendary item recipe (unintended and led to a lot of mistakes)
  • Fixed being able to perform the empower transmutation on a True Legendary item (unintended and led to a lot of mistakes)
  • Fixed being able to perform the "unlock enchants" transmutation on an item with no locked enchants
  • Fixed Hellfire (Warlock) having an incorrect damage radius value and missing frequently vs single targets

Update 0.91.0 - Warden love, tweaks, fixes, QoL stuff!

0.91.0:
Areas:
  • Slowed the movement of the background stars in Tinka's Domain
Bosses:
  • Doubled the stun duration on Eazima The Dune Mother after she vomits you up
Crafting:
  • You can now re-lock unlocked enchants that have been Greater Augmented to max without spending Memory Essences
Enemies & Affixes:
  • Blood Nova:
    • Is now an actual nova rather than projectiles
Experience:
  • Endgame:
    • Increased the rewards a little bit as the nerf hammer hit too hard last update
  • Mastery:
    • Rebalanced the growth rate of required experience to levelup, smoothing out the curve and removing the huge jumps each 500 levels
Interface:
  • Updated the Endgame interface a little bit to make some things more clear
  • Roman numerals are now generally only used to numbers as large as 1000 because it gets silly
  • True Legendary items now show up as big orange T's on the minimap to be easier to see
  • Added small icons to item cards indicating if enchants are locked, maximum Augmented, or maximum Greater Augmented
  • Runes when applied to gear now list the Rune power name first
  • Spell Codexes now show up on the minimap
  • Updated the Help sections on stats by adding some clarifications
  • Item cards now highlight all dynamic values of powers, runes, enchants, and gems
  • Can now hold Shift or Left bumper to sell a full stack
  • Can now hold Shift to spend 20x Mastery points
Items & Equipment:
    All:
    • Added new item:
      • Advancing Army (Legendary Boots):
        • 280% of Movement Speed is added to Companion Damage
    • Tome of Knowledge:
      • Now has a Legendary Power:

        • Adds +3% Bonus Experience per kill, stacking infinitely, until an item of Unique quality or higher drops (no, you can't get around this with loot filters ;) )
    • Extra-Ordinary Cap:
      • Now requires Rare or lower quality items
    Templar:
    • Set tomes now roll elemental damage
    Warden:
    • New items:
      • Windflurry (Legendary Arrow):
        • Double Draw now triggers from Storm skills, shooting Gusts instead of arrows, and adds up to 40% additional chance to trigger
      • Finned Arrow (Legendary Arrow):
        • Seeking Arrow strikes up to 10 additional times, deals 40% increased damage, but is limited to a single arrow
    • Windcaller Set improved:
      • 3) Whirlwinds now spawn with a base duration of 7 seconds, rather than a base of 3 and 7 after a merge
      • 3) Whirlwinds now also actively seek out other Whirlwinds as they get closer to expiring
      • Added a small animation for the merging rather than just have the Whirlwinds pop out of existence instantly
    • Stormcaller Set Revamped:
      • 2) Lightning Rod applies a burn to foes struck, dealing the same amount of damage per second, for 5 seconds. This burn stacks.
      • 3) The stacked up damage per second of the burn effect is added to Static procs from burning foes.
      • 4) The Warden gains 40% Damage Reduction. Lightning Rod and Static also gain an additional 40% chance to trigger.
    • Snowstorm Set revamped:
      • 2) Foes affected by Winter's Chill takes 15% increased damage from Snow Blast, and Winter's chill stacks infinitely
      • 3) When triggered, Snow Blast now also summons a Snow Ball which will hover above the target foe, building up damage based on the Snow Blast triggers. After 3 seconds, a pause in Snow Blast procs, or if the foe dies, the Snow Ball strikes the ground dealing 120% of the stored up damage to all foes within 5 meters.
      • 4) 40% Damage Reduction, increases Snow Ball range to 7 meters (Hail interaction removed)
    • Torrential Set revamped:
      • 2) Pummel stacks infinitely and adds an additional 15% damage increase per stack. Pelted Strikes twice as fast.
      • 3) Torrent always triggers, and Pelted lasts forever.
      • 4) 40% Damage Reduction, Torrent restores 1% mana on trigger.
    • Storm Pendant:
      • The Rank of the Nimbus spawned can now be Augmented, up to 5
    • Trapper's Boots:
      • Nerfed the enchant augment to 100/150/220% (unique, legendary, greater augment)
    • Snowpiercer:
      • Now adds proc rate to Snow Blast and Hail
    • Winter's Coming:
      • No longer increases Torrent trigger chance
      • Instead increases the Frost damage bonus of Winter and causes Winter's Chill on all foes within 5 meters when Winter is triggered
Loot:
  • Endgame crafting materials now glow differently on the ground than regular Legendary items to set them apart a little bit more
  • Loot drops should now spawn faster from killed enemies
  • Stack sizes of everything increased to 10k
Mechanics:
  • Knockback and Leaping:
    • Now animates a lot faster, and after a certain point will scale with movement speed (especially useful for leaping companions)
Runes:
    Templar:
    • Hallowed Grace:
      • Is now a multiplier rather than percentage, adding a multiple of barrier strength as base damage
    Warden:
    • Added new Warden rune:

      • Greater Hail:
        • Pelted has a % chance to spawn Greater Hail, dealing damage in a 2 meter radius
    • Boomspore:
      • Now detonates all Shrooms instantly on cast rather than all within damage radius
Skills:
    All:
    • Commander (Mastery Perk):
      • Now also triggers on using Companion skills
    Templar:
    • Phantom Shield:
      • Now has a range of 7 meters, which cannot be improved with Reach
    Warden:
    • Double Draw:
      • Double Draw is now direct damage, always triggering on-hit effects
    • Gale:
      • Animation updated
    • Hail Storm:
      • Now has an instance limit of 4
    • Razor Wind:
      • Added visual effect
    • Storm Shrooms:
      • Now also deals damage when the Shrooms pop, and works with the Stormcaller set bonuses
    • Spore Rain:
      • Now uses the new area targeting mechanic to guarantee a decent number of direct hits
    • Toxicology:
    • Fairy Ring:
      • Poison Shrooms now deal instant damage and places a poison DoT on foes hit, rather than producing laggy poison clouds
    • Overgrowth:

      • Updated animations
World:
  • Reduced the spawn rate of the Shady Dealer somewhat
Misc:
  • Increased the size of all mouse-over "hitboxes" for shrines, enemies, etc
Fixes:
  • Fixed Rune of Focused Lightning not working with Static (Warden)
  • Fixed an issue with area targeting skills that would cause missing projectiles to target in a particular pattern rather than fully random
  • Fixed issue allowing stash duping if you had not opened the stash in either hardcore or normal mode
  • Fixed issue where global progression could be shared between hardcore and normal mode
  • Fixed Bloodline (Berserker) not adding Heritage Effect
  • Fixed Flash (Templar) not working with Hammerstorm
  • Fixed stats and gear power not updating when leveling up equipment via transmutation
  • Fixed Shrooms and Spores (Warden) not triggering on-hit effects
  • Fixed several issues with Chinese fonts and text coloring
  • Fixed on-kill effects not triggering from enemies who died from indirect damage like procs and dots

  • Fixed being able to portal out of the Blood-Tooth Arena, which would bug the progress and cause you to get stuck until restart

  • Fixed rune dupes dropping sooner than expected because of not saving rune data correctly between sessions

  • Fixed Empowered Shot (Warden) not breaking breakables
  • Fixed some skill typos and fixed Critical Hit naming inconsistency for some skills
  • Fixed issue which caused characters to sometimes randomly attack when entering the game

  • Fixed not being able to resurrect co-op partners in challenge areas in Hardcore mode (Hardcore mode allows deaths inside challenge areas)
  • Fixed issue where if a player reached the end of the Crumbling Reliquary before other in co-op, they would be killed and left in the void :(

Update 0.90.3 - Fixes and Endgame tweaks

Hey everyone!

Thanks for all the reports! Here's an update that should resolve most found issues since 0.90.0. There's still some left in the bug reports thread, and I'll have another update out by the weekend or so to take care of that.

Here's the full notes:

0.90.3:
Anomaly Rewards:
  • Anomaly experience rewards were tweaked around not stacking with bonus experience stats... which they accidentally did, awarding as much as 40 times too much on the highest difficulty (oof)
  • They now intentionally stack with bonus experience stats, and have been balanced around it
  • You are guaranteed level-ups when on an estimated appropriate league all the way to Mastery ~900 where it slows down
  • The reward experience now also scale with your Mastery, granting you a little bit more for each Mastery level you gain
  • The Anomaly interface now also properly reflect the true reward experience with all bonus experience stats included
  • Crystals, Materials, and Rune rewards remain unchanged
  • Boss Chests now drop Crowns
Experience gains:
  • Experience gained from quests are no longer increased by experience modifiers as the quest rewards are already based on your level
  • Trove experience reward doubled
Interface:
  • Moved the killstreak announcements upwards slightly to where zone entrance announcements are
Loot:
  • Story bosses have had their drop rates increased
Monsters:
  • Wailing Scholars have had their damage reduced by 30%
  • Fungimancas no longer cast Fairy Ring (poison shrooms of death)
Skills:
  • Berserker:
    • Burn:
      • Now renamed Dragon Burn to avoid the inevitable confusion
  • Templar:
    • Magnetic Field:
    • Magnetic Orbs:
      • Now updates the crit rate from the player rather than snapshot (might add this to other similar skills if it feels good)
Tinka's Domain:
  • Moved the Resistant Dummy down a bit so bouncing effects doesn't seek out dummies in other rooms etc
Fixes:
  • Fixed Firebreather's Helmet description saying "AMOUNT"
  • Fixed Dragonbreath (Berserker) not working
  • Fixed issue causing inconsistent drop rates of Champion's Crowns
  • Fixed issue causing incorrect exp overflow calculations when gaining insane amount of experience, resulting in a lot of extra levelups
  • Fixed some skill description typos/grammar and missing highlights
  • Fixed some enchant skill ID references pointing to wrong skills
  • Fixed issue causing dupe Rune drops before having seen all Runes
  • Fixed Shady Dealer announcement not popping
  • Fixed Shady Dealer not leaving the area
  • Fixed Hardcore Tombstones using the old Anomaly system in the info
  • Fixed a crash that could happen when hovering world objects with color blindness help turned on

Update 0.90.2 - True Legendary drop rate fix and more

Hey everyone!

Did you find True Legendary items to be a bit rare recently?
Turns out they didn't drop in Anomalies. My bad. ːsteamfacepalmː

This update fixes that and a few other things, and also changes how MF works in general.. should provide a better experience overall, but please let me know what you think!

0.90.2:
Loot:
  • Further tuned drop rates across the board
  • Player MF is now multiplied with chest rarity bonuses and enemy MF bonuses (the enemy MF bonus is based on their relative maximum health)
  • This, among other things, makes spending keys on locked chests more worthwhile
Fixes:
  • Fixed Static incorrectly stating that Companions may trigger it
  • Fixed being able to use portal scrolls at the end of Dungeon Anomalies (prevented so you don't miss the loot)
  • Fixed some powers and skills having incorrect skill references
  • Fixed issue causing True Legendary items to not drop in Anomalies
  • Fixed issue causing enemy affixes to not scale with Anomaly Leagues
  • Fixed issue that prevented Elites attached to Champions from calculating their bonus MF correctly

Update 0.90.1 - Tweaks and fixes

I have mainly fixed a bunch of issues and done some tweaking to Anomalies and drop rates. Please let me know if you think drop rates are better and how the Anomalies feel now!

Here's the full update notes:
0.90.1:
Anomalies:
  • Increased monster density of all Anomalies
  • Vastly increased monster density in the larger open layouts and forests
  • Tweaked the Anomaly completion bar fill rate
Loot:
  • Adjusted base drop rates as they were accidentally set much too low
  • Bonus MF from difficulties past Legendary have had to be rebalanced (since they scale multiplicatively with the base drop rates)
  • As a result of this, MF on gear is much more valuable now
Misc:
  • Reduced frequency of Unstable Dimension spawns
Skills & Monsters:
  • Target circles should no longer be covered by ground damage effects
  • Enemy fire ground effects should now also show target circles so they are still visible if they overlap with player abilities
  • Thunder affix thunder strikes now show a target circle
  • Spirits of Torment now merges from a greater distance (set bonus) and are now limited to 15 active spirits
  • Spirits of Torment and Windcaller Whirlwinds (set) now update their attack timers properly when merging
Fixes:
  • Fixed a Rune of MISSING TEXT dropping
  • Fixed Crash on Maddoc boss fight
  • Fixed Maddoc's table going absolutely nuts
  • Fixed Grace's shield visual (Templar) not fading away correctly
  • Fixed some Berserker Heritage skills causing a flickering Root Veil effect
  • Fixed potentially unreachable exit in Clairebourg Halls
  • Fixed Waypoint portals in The Chronicon appear as if unlocked at all times
  • Fixed the Eastern Wing key still referencing Eastern Wall (old zone)
  • Fixed going out of the Servant Quarters to Castle Exterior putting you inside a wall
  • Fixed Sporeblood Perk (Warden) referencing the wrong skill
  • Fixed dungeon doors in Lushlands spawning incorrectly
