Outhold Releases on December 12th!

[p]We're happy to finally be ready to announce the release date and price for Outhold! [/p][p][/p][p]The game will be releasing on Steam on Friday, December 12th 2025, priced at $6.99 and a 20% launch discount (= $5.60). We couldn't be more excited about getting the full game out to all of you! [/p][p][/p][p]We are also planning to run a private playtest during November to iron out any final bugs and balancing issues. Update v0.2.2 - Bug Fixes

[p]We've been doing a number of smaller hotfixes over the past few days to iron out some bugs going into this week's Next Fest. Here's the summary of those changes:[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]You can now hold down the shift key in the upgrade tree to quickly add and remove multiple levels[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the Explosive Burn upgrade (enemies hit by an explosion start burning) wasn't causing the correct damage [/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the Rain of Arrows upgrade (increased fire rate on arrow tower) didn't actually do anything [/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the Multi-Multicrit upgrade (add 1 more multicrit) didn't work[/p]
  • [p]Added colored outlines to unleveled upgrades to more clearly show their token type[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the camera in the upgrade tree would get stuck in panning mode[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where your own leaderboard entry wouldn't show up if outside the top 10[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where upgrades could be selected without having upgraded the previous nodes in the tree[/p]
  • [p]Improved performance when upgrading or downgrading multiple nodes at the same time[/p]

Update v0.2.1 - Localization

[p]The demo has just been updated to version v0.2.1, removing the 20 000 token limit and adding localization for the following languages:[/p]

  • [p]The "Aftershock" (bonus damage on shocked enemies) upgrade now correctly branches from the "Lingering Shock" (increased stun duration) upgrade.[/p]
  • [p]Updated colors to make it clearer which upgrades nodes have been maxed out.[/p]

Update v0.2.0 - New Towers

[p]The demo has just been updated to version v0.2.0, introducing two new tower types (Fire and Lightning), tweaked colors and visuals, and rebalancing across the board. [/p][p][/p][p]This update comes in preparation for the October Next Fest, which we will be participating in. We've also updated our capsules and key art for the game on Steam! [/p][p][/p][p]Due to the balance changes in this patch, we've gone ahead and reset the leaderboards. [/p][p][/p][p]Full changes below: [/p][p][/p]
  • [p]The colors and visual style has been updated [/p]
  • [p]Added a Fire Tower and related upgrades[/p]
  • [p]Added a Lightning Tower and related upgrades[/p]
  • [p]Rebalanced a number of upgrades, and added new ones to existing builds[/p]
  • [p]Arrow Towers will now avoid targetting enemies that are already about to be defeated[/p]
  • [p]Allow toggling between spent / total and unspent / total token displays, by clicking on the token list[/p]
  • [p]Added automatic crash reporting[/p]
  • [p]General performance improvements [/p]
  • [p]Upgraded the engine to Godot 4.5[/p]
