The grand steam page overhaul of '25 & Thank yous!

[h2]Hello, everyone![/h2][p][/p][p]We have just released a massive overhaul of our steam store page to include new screenshots, better formatted and up to date information about custom fortress, including a better presentation of what the actual scope of our project is. I also wanted to inform you guys that we will also be making a new gameplay trailer, that will be featured on the store page, sometime in the future after our next few community weapon sets are released and we would like all of you to be apart of it! (More information will be posted in our discord but this will not be till after the holidays.)

I also just want to quickly thank all of you for supporting us after our extremely accidental launch and still staying with us through our faults and issues while we attempt to achieve our goal of making the most customizable and community-driven version of Team Fortress 2 for the community! In case we don't have time to release an update during these upcoming holidays, I would like to wish you guys a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy New Years, and whatever else you guys celebrate![/p][p][/p][p]Thank you all so much! Taunt Menu patch.

[General]
  • Added an Advanced Setting to disable Warpaints and Skinned Weapons.
  • Enhanced Team Selection buttons on Loadout screen.
  • Added an "Reverts" tab to Host a Game Menu for users to control or revert certain weapons in the game.
  • This will be expanded on in the future.


[Bugfixes]
  • Fixed a bug where taunts would not get refreshed upon resupplying.

Small Patch

[General]
  • Added Hactica's All-Class Spy Melee Fixes.
  • Fixed a bug where Pyro All-Class melee hit wouldnt match the hit animation in both first and third person.
[Workshop]
  • Fixed Map tag being added automatically
  • Added the ability to upload multiple screenshots
  • Maps should now be able to be loaded on Listen Servers (make sure that users have the subscribed map)


[VScript / Modding]
  • Attribute "projectile_has_gravity" now works with all projectiles and properly rotates models.

Workshop Support (Part 1)

Highlights

[h3]Added Workshop Support[/h3]
- Users can now browse Workshop items through the new browser and upload them through the new Uploader, you can upload Maps, and create reskins for now, we are still experimenting in part 2 for actual fully custom support.


The Weapon Reskin tool
  1. Choose your custom model
  2. Select a weapon you want your mod to act as replacement
  3. Add it to the list (you can make your mod replace multiple weapons)
  4. Pick an output for your mod
  5. Create it and upload it to the workshop! (or use it somewhere else)

- It's now a more simple damage / mobility tool rather than a supportive tool.

General
  • Added a radial menu voice command option. (Lambdagon)
  • Teleporting inside an enemy with the Baleful Beacon now causes the enemy to be telefragged.
  • Added a taunt kill to the Boxing Taunt.
  • Added a kill icon to the Trust Fall taunt.
  • Host Icons have been removed as Dedicated Servers will become more common.
  • Added tf_viewmodels_offset_override as an usable command.
  • Disabled the max players warning.
VScript / Modding
  • Added "keep disguise on attack" as a useable attribute.
  • ToggleCollisionsOn (Removes/Enables collisions between 2 physics props)
  • All Taunt kills are now affected by "gesture speed increase" attribute
  • hud_reloadscheme now reloads "clientscheme" file and the main menu.
  • Added "dispenser_build_rate_multiplier" as an usable attribute.
  • Added a new popfile attribute "UseDifficultyBasedAim" to control Spy Bot aim.
Bugfixes
  • Fixed a bug where you could enter the enemy spawn with the Baleful Beacon.
  • Fixed Hell Beneath stickies not fizzling when going over the Sticky limit.
  • Fixed Hell Beneath stickies not exploding near the wearer and near buildings.
  • Fixed a bug where Disguised Spies would still show cosmetics even with "Cosmetics Disabled" enabled.
  • Fixed a bug where backpack icons would appear with really low resolution.
  • Fixed a bug where the Texan Trickshot taunt wasnt displayed it's kill icon.
  • Fixed a bug where bullet tracers from Pistols, SMGs and Revolvers only spawned on even or odd clip size numbers.
  • Fixed a bug where Short Circuit projectiles and Dragon's Fury projectile wouldnt respect cl_flipviewmodels.
  • Fixed a bug where inactive weapons didnt change the 3D Player Model in the HUD.
  • Fixed a bug where weapon viewmodels would go through walls at high FOV.
  • Removed Grub.

Bugfix Patch 1

[p]- Fixed Credits Menu not showing up 995's mention. [/p][p]- Fixed typo on the "Better Mercenary" badge. [/p][p]- Fixed a bug where a sv_cheats error would get spammed in console. [/p][p]- Fixed a bug where dying while airblast boosting with the Afterburner would self-assist in the kill feed.[/p]
