This custom mini gaming PC looks like a Fallout 4 TV

A crafty modder has created a mini gaming PC with a vintage aesthetic, and it looks like something you'd use in Fallout 4. Emulating the look of an old woodgrain TV set, the build features a repurposed Windows tablet and an ATSC TV antenna, enabling it both to act as a computer and a way to catch your favourite TV shows.

In a Reddit post, BuildsByZeek shares photos of the mini custom gaming PC in all its glory. The build even comes with a dinky woodgrain keyboard, which the modder says is a trimmed-down tablet accessory. Just like an old TV set, the box has a bunny ear antenna at the back, which feeds its USB ATSC tuner a signal.

While the Windows tablet within this mini retro rig would likely struggle with big-budget releases, it could make for a great way to play less intensive indie games or stream from services like GeForce Now. Given the PC's Fallout 4 vibes, we're eager to see what the post-apocalyptic RPG game would look like on its screen, especially since the system screams Retrofuturism.

Fallout 4 mod lets you play as a Halo Helljumper

Fallout 4 mods are invaluable. Take power armour, for example. It's heavy, clunky and it sounds great, but it has one problem - it's not stylish, not like the armour from Halo. And what's the most stylish armour from Halo you may ask, because it's 3AM and you can't get to sleep and these are the kinds of questions that start going through your mind.

Well for us, it's the one from ODST, the Halo 3 spin-off from 2009, which you can also play as part of The Master Chief Collection. If only you could dress like that in Fallout 4...

Well thanks to an enterprising group over at NexusMods, that highly specific but also very cool dream is now a reality. "ODST Battle Armour" allows you to customise your Fallout character based on any one of the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, or "Helljumpers", from Bungie's classic shooter. There are three different armour suits; four helmets; different skins, visors and glow colour; a HUD overlay; and you can even write your own nickname on the chestplate. Butch, Romeo, Mickey, Buck and Dare were the oiginal Drop Shock Troopers. We challenge you to come up with something equally tough and suave. Maybe a combination of the two - Rombuck.

Now you can play Fallout 3's Point Lookout DLC in Fallout 4

Point Lookout was my favorite Fallout 3 expansion, adding an island full of in-bred mutant yokels who've grown thickly callused forearms they hold up to stop you headshotting them, and drugged-up locals who send you on a psychedelic visionquest. It's weird, funny, and a pretty good time, and now you can play it in Fallout 4...

Fallout 4 mod set in London features the voices of two classic Doctor Whos

An incredibly impressive mod for Fallout 4 called Fallout London, first revealed last year, has shown off around 20 minutes of gameplay.

All mods are equal, but some mods are more equal than others. That happens to be the case with this particular mod, Fallout London, which essentially looks like an entire game in its own right. A new gameplay trailer shows off what looks to be the first roughly 20 minutes of gameplay for the "DLC-sized mod," with a pretty classic style opening. There's a slideshow explaining what happens when the bombs dropped in London, because war never changes, as we all know.

Then of course, it starts you out in some kind of mysterious lab, where two scientists are studying you. There's even some original voice acting! The wildest part about that though, is that these two scientists are voiced by none other than Sylvester McCoy and Colin Baker, the seventh and sixth Doctors from Doctor Who respectively. Quite the bit of talent to open up the game with, and certainly impressive for a fan project.

Here's 18 cracking minutes of Fallout: London gameplay

One of the most exciting announcements during E3 in 2021 wasn't for a new game but a mod for an existing one. Fallout: London is a DLC-sized mod for Fallout 4 that takes the famously unchanging nature of war and airmails it to jolly old England in the year 2237...
