[p]Hi everyone![/p][p]It's been 1 week since Desktop Defender launched, and it's going crazier than I ever expected. Since last week we:[/p]

[p]I can't wait to continue developing the game, and I'm loving all of your feedback! Today's patch marks 7 consecutive days of updates, and I hope you're all enjoying them![/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]Also, if you're enjoying the game, I would REALLY appreciate it if you reviewed it. It's the best thing you can do to support the game if you're enjoying it![/p][p]Anyways, below are the patch notes![/p]

MORE FIXES! + The Future Of Desktop Defender

[p]Hi everyone![/p][p]I'm continuing the streak of daily updates, and on this day 6 I have yet another one! This one is slightly smaller, and that's because I've started to do some work on the game's broader balance. This means making HP loot more useful, making percentage damage have more of a place together with flat damage, and adjusting XP gains in the lategame. Before I present you all with the patch notes, I wanted to ask: How alright are you with adding achievements to the game? [/p][p]I know some achievement hunters don't like the feeling of having a game 100%d, and then seeing that because of content additions, that is no longer the case. I'd love to hear how you all feel about this! There's definitely room for more achievements, especially with upcoming content additions, but I wanted to confirm with you all if that was something that you wanted![/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]Also, if you're enjoying the game, I would REALLY appreciate it if you reviewed it. It's the best thing you can do to support the game if you're enjoying it![/p][p]Anyways, below are the patch notes![/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug with Rebirths that made it such that if you rebirth too many times, the game can softlock itself (not sure how you guys managed to do this, it only starts happening at about ascension 100)[/p]
  • [p]Added a cap to the rebirth multiplier, you will no longer get bonuses after the 250th rebirth (this is for rebirths specifically, not ascensions)[/p]
  • [p]Made it such that you can't get more than 1 level per wave[/p]
  • [p]Improved the functionality that prevented first person games played at the same time as Desktop Defender from having their cursor "pulled"[/p]
  • [p]Added functionality to allow you to change the window size by right clicking and scrolling on the mouse wheel[/p]
  • [p]Fixed exploit that allowed you to farm 1 ascendium with no penalties in the early game[/p]
  • [p]Made it so that the purchase limit with the shift-click on upgrades is no longer 500, but rather 5,000[/p]

It's the best thing you can do to support the game if you're enjoying it![/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]Anyways, below are the patch notes![/p]
