Bug Fix Patch - Version 6.0.4

[p][/p][p]Hey Anglers,
[/p][p]We’ve just released a small hotfix to address a few issues that appeared after the latest bug-fix patch.[/p][p]There’s also one important detail we unfortunately missed in the previous patch notes, related to competitions. Some of you may have noticed that the ratings column has disappeared. Please don’t worry - this is expected behavior, not a bug. As part of our work on a new matchmaking and rating system, this temporary change was necessary. The ratings column will return once the new feature is released, your rating won’t be lost, and points that you are gaining right now ace all calculated and saved.
[/p][p]Here’s what’s been addressed in this patch:[/p]
  1. [p]Resolved an issue where hint messages were repeatedly displayed at the top of the screen.[/p]
  2. [p]Fixed an issue with an unresponsive window that appeared when a player with the maximum number of marker buoy slots received a shared marker buoy.[/p]
  3. [p]The float now correctly bounces on waves on Torii No Koto pin in Japan. [/p]
  4. [p]Addressed a missing personal record message after catching a huge fish on the Valkyrie boat.[/p]
  5. [p]Adjusted the minimum trophy weight for Atlantic Saury, as the maximum weight of the common fish form exceeded the minimum trophy weight, to keep fish weight ranges consistent within the same location. [/p]
  6. [p]Fixed ice and Greenland Shark animation issues in the Sharkology mission.[/p]
  7. [p]Corrected glasses visibility on characters in Photo Mode.[/p]
  8. [p]The sound effect for putting glasses on and taking them off has been corrected.
    [/p]
[p]We appreciate your reports and support as we continue to improve the game. Your feedback plays a huge role in making the experience better for all anglers.

Merry Fishmas 2025!

[p][/p][p]Dear Anglers, [/p][p][/p][p]The winter holidays are making their way into our homes, and we want to send a truly warm thank-you to our wonderful community for being… well, exactly the way you are ❤️[/p][p][/p][p]This year was quite a journey. We expanded Fishing Planet to Nintendo Switch, which makes us available now on every big platform out there and adds up to 8 platforms all together.[/p][p][/p][p]We added even more vast locations to our beautiful Planet, expanding saltwater fishing and taking you to the sun-soaked, vibrant waters of Noomaa Kuda Atholhu and then to the completely different, wild and powerful seas of Skårland Fjord. Alongside these locations came dozens of new items: new boats, rods and reels, a wide range of terminal tackle, a new retrieval method, and even a crane feature for capturing stunning photos with massive fish.[/p][p][/p][p]This year also marked the beginning of major quality-of-life improvements, starting with Inventory updates,  and we’re only getting started. On top of that, we introduced many new missions, achievements, and competitions to keep your fishing journey fresh and rewarding.[/p][p][/p][p]None of this would exist without you, our Brave, Dedicated, Supportive, Witty, sometimes Demanding, sometimes Unapologetically Honest and Critical, but always Amazing Anglers. We are incredibly grateful for your active and genuine feedback, for your ideas, jokes, debates, and of course, your complaints. You help shape Fishing Planet every single day, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We truly appreciate the passion and care you put into the game![/p][p][/p][p]As the year comes to a close, we remember those who are no longer with us, and support and appreciate those who left the team to defend our Homeland. We honor their courage and commitment, and carry their strength with us into everything we do.[/p][p][/p][p]To everyone reading this, we wish you and your loved ones cozy days, a table full of good food, easy laughter, and those small, meaningful moments that make the season special. May your holidays feel calm, bright, and a little magical. [/p][p][/p][p]A great thank you to our lovely community for supporting us, sharing your thoughts, and for being part of this journey. Having you by our side means more to us than words can say, and we’re excited for everything that lies ahead. And believe us, we are planning to be cooking even more in 2026![/p][p]
