[h2]Patchnotes Update 2.4.0c[/h2][p][/p][p]Today, we released version 2.4.0c of Florensia, which addresses some issues and introduces some new quality of life improvements as well as one experimental change that we would like to test together with the community.[/p][p][/p][p]Experimental Defence Change[/p][hr][/hr][p]As some of you know, having too much defence in the game results in some cases where players don't get a lot of damage in PvP. We noticed that a lot during the last PvP League, as well as in recent feedback.[/p][p]We don't want to change how defence works in PvE (so that you guys can continue to tank everything you were already able to tank), but we don't think that the way defence scales for PvP is enjoyable at the moment.[/p][p]With this patch, we adjusted some things which will result in players' defences being 20% less effective in player vs player combat. Your defences are still 100% effective against monsters.[/p][p]Internally, we conducted extensive testing and settled on 20% for both physical and magical defence.[/p][p]As initially stated, this is an experimental change. We will have a feedback thread pinned in Discord. We'd love to hear what you guys think of this change.[/p][p]ย [/p][p]Changes[/p][hr][/hr]
  • [p]Increased movement speed for lootpets (this does not include combat pets).[/p]
  • [p]Adjusted the sea exp death penalty to match the one on land (0.15%). You will only start to lose exp above level 10.[/p]
  • [p]Adjusted Blood Thirst to properly check distance when pulling monsters and players[/p]
  • [p]Lightning Recall is now of type "Physical" instead of "Lightning", which results in the skill now properly using physical hitrate instead of magical.[/p]
  • [p]Added additional client and version checks[/p]

  • [p]Fixed Vampiric Touch not healing when the skill is used to kill a monster or player.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed HP / MP recovery incorrectly when sitting[/p]

  • [p]Fixed some skills being cancelled if the target died during casting[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Hide (sea skill) still being active when going to land[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an error in the exp calculation that did not properly account for players +-15 level out of range, which should have reduced the amount of exp instead of multiplying it.
    In most cases, this should not result in getting less experience if the level of your party was close together.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed various typos in skill descriptions.[/p]
  • [p]Possible fix for a bug on sea that would stop you from steering.[/p]

[p]Hello,[/p][p][/p][p]This weekend we have a double EXP event again. So enjoy![/p][p][/p][p]Some info:[/p][p][/p][p]As we took control of the game, we can finally tackle the translation. We will add improved translations for all existing languages in a step-by-step process, as the amount of text is so large. [/p][p][/p][p]As well, we will transform Portuguese into Brazilian Portuguese. [/p][p][/p][p]Our next small patch will enter final QA in the coming days, bringing us closer to another patch.   • [p]Adjusted several values for Kommandant Humbert Unruh. We will continue to monitor feedback and adjust values where needed.[/p]
    • [p]Physical defence: 3200 -> 2500[/p]
    • [p]Magical defence: 3200 -> 2500[/p]
    • [p]Avoidance rate: 900 -> 500[/p]
    • [p]All elemental defences: 1100 -> 600[/p]
  • [p]Added a cooldown of 3 minutes (180 seconds) to the Medicinal herb of Revival.[/p]
  • [p]All combat pets are no longer able to attack other players with skills. Auto-attacks are still possible, which is intended. This change was made to mitigate abuse and avoid several balancing issues caused by pets ignoring the defence. We will keep investigating alternatives, however we believe that this is the correct approach going forward as it creates a more even playing field.ย [/p]
  • [p]Changed some defaults for settings:[/p]
    • [p]Shadows: Detailed[/p]
    • [p]BGM sound: Changed from 50% down to 30%[/p]

  • [p]All Tower Party quests can now be handed in to the Roxbury Tower Manager. The quest shells can still be obtained by any Tower Manager on all islands.[/p]

  • [p]Added thousands separator to several locations where Gelt is displayed, this includes but is not limited to the trading window and inventory.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed wrong naming of Woodywoody essences to match the name of the monster: WoodyWoody. Uppercases matter.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed various monster names. The names of monsters across all languages have now been standardized to the English naming.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed wrong description of debuff from "\[Elite]Corrupted Maid". The debuff reduces Magic min. and max. attack by 350 and decreases HP and MP by 2000.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue whereby a player would be slowed down, if they were buffed while having Ice Shield active.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed one of the quest markers for "Valuable Medical Stuff" (level 33) being outside the map.ย [/p]
  • [p]Fixed in-client "Register" button redirecting to wrong page on the homepage.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed sea ability "Ship Recovery" healing more than mentioned in the description. The values have now been adjusted to match the description.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed partially wrong description for sea ability "Randomly Shooting". All descriptions have been changed to English for the time being with the only exception being German. We will provide updated translations at a later date.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed healed values for several abilities not matching their descriptions. The affected abilities are: Healing Hands, Instant Recovery, Master Recovery and Aurora of Life.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue that allowed for an indefinite amount of teleportations to a players' partner using the marriage system.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed regression in login system that caused password input content to not be detected correctly.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed massive FPS drops in main menu caused by grass & tree nodes not being culled properly.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a visual glitch causing artifacts in world selection screen.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a variety of text alignments/visibility issues in UIs, including but not limited to login, character selection, character creation, in-game UI, world map, trade window, and inventory.[/p]
