Dear Florensians
With the third class balanced patch, we aimed for one of the most important aspects of every class: buffs. Our goal was the same as always: Create a system in which all skills are a viable option to use, albeit under different circumstances and for different builds.
With todays patch, the double EXP event has been activated on top of the already existing Tower event.
[h3]Skill and Status Reset[/h3]
Also with this patch, you will be granted another free skill reset. Note that if you already had a free skill reset from last time, you will not get a second one.
We've also thrown in a Status Reset, as we now changed a lot of skills with our last three patches.
[h3]Class Changes[/h3]
Noble
Sword of Spirit is one of the first skills you learn and forget about instantly since it's totally useless for magic classes - no Noble needs melee damage. We therefore changed it to give magic min and max attack, but at a lower rate than Magic Power (which only grants maximum magic attack).
Magic Boost is a great skill to boost the MP of fellow players, but for the amount of points you have to spend, it could be better. So we increased the amount of MP on each level.
Recharge in theory is a great skill to help your teammates get out a skill they desperately need to. But it just did not give enough mana to be worth it. It was also weird that you had to sacrifice less MP than you can recharge. To fix this, we increased the scaling and adjusted the mp costs accordingly.

[h3]Mercenary[/h3]
Berserk only grants low values and has some really interesting mp costs for a buff (on max 871 ôo). We thought it would be intersting to try out a skill that has two sides - you get a tremendous amount of damage while losing defense. We are interested to see how this turns out!
Berserker allowed a Mercenary to be rather fast for just one skill point. If you want to be fast, you now have to invest. You also get a bit more damage for doing so.
Mercenary should be tanky, but a Gladiator should not be as tanky as a Guardian Swordsman. To shift this balance, we removed some defense from Shield Mastery and added it to Absolute Defense (see below: Guardian Swordsman).

With the recent changes, Mercenary lost 87 defense from Stone Skin. An dditional 205 defense from Shield Mastery will also be taken away from the Mercenary. To retain the Guardian swordsmans place as a tank, we added 300 extra defense in total to Absolute Defense.

Hit Chain requires 10 skill points for merely 91 hit. Important note: Hit Chain only grants physical hitrate, not magical.

[h3]Excavator[/h3]
With only a 20s cooldown on Crimon Dust that lasts 15 seconds, Excavators only had a 5s time that they had to bridge to apply dust permanently (if they hit of course).
While we think that Excavators definitely need Crimson Dust as a damage source, having a 5 second gap between the skill running out and cooldown reset is too short. We therefore added 5 seconds to the cooldown, increasing the gap to 10 seconds.

The idea of Spirtual Power in theory is great, however, MP Recovery does not work while in combat, which rendered the skill nearly useless. We therefore decided to change it to a hitrate skill, like Hit Chain, but only for magic hitrate.
Blessing of Nature does give a lot of physical defense, which is a hard stat to balance. We therefore lowered the amount of physical defense by about 10% but added Magical Defense to it.
Thorn Trunk did not do what it should: root the enemy. We fixed this, but had to reduce the duration slightly to prevent it from being too strong.

NEW ROOT Thorn Trunk now roots your enemy in place, which prevents them from moving, no matter their movement speed.
[h3]Priest[/h3]
Not many priests use Blessing of Life as it requires 7 skill points for only 885 HP.
We agreed that this is not a good investment for your skill points and increased the HP you get exponentially with each skill level.
