The prologue of PANGIT is now open for testing!

[p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Agents, the moment I've been waiting for with you all is finally here! I am opening the doors to the PANGIT playtest and inviting each of you to be part of the team at this early stage.[/p][p]Date: September 16th - 30th.
The game's prologue will be available.[/p][p]Your mission? Simply to play! But if you find a bug, notice something odd with the balance, or have a brilliant idea—I'm waiting for your reports. You can submit a report via the PDA in the game itself, in the "PLAYTEST" section. It's your feedback that will help me polish PANGIT to a shine (well, I'll do my best, at least).[/p][hr][/hr][h3]Some important details are outlined in the announcement, including recommended system specs, etc. [/h3][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]Thank you for your help. I'm the solo developer behind this project, and this is a really exciting moment for me—to finally show you what I've been working on for the past few months. Your feedback is the most valuable resource for polishing the game before release. [hr][/hr][h3]What's Still in Development? (Known Issues)[/h3][p]Some systems are still actively being worked on and will be ready for the full release. Thank you for your understanding![/p]
  • [p]PDA: The interface and functionality (map, weapon info) are not yet complete.[/p]
  • [p]Skill Upgrades: At the workbench, only the combat drone can currently be upgraded (damage and flight duration). Other upgrades are in development.[/p]
  • [p]Control Settings: Key rebinding is not yet available. Some options in the menu might not work.[/p]
  • [p]Cutscenes: The opening and ending cutscenes are temporary placeholders.[/p]
[p]Despite this, you'll get a complete sense of the gameplay and atmosphere.   • [p]Pay attention to the tutorials! I've made a system of pop-up hints with video demonstrations. There is currently no way to rewatch them from the PDA, so don't skip them.[/p]
  • [p]Hidden Controls:[/p]
    • [p]C — Switch camera shoulder.[/p]
    • [p]Alt (double-tap) — Dodge roll to evade attacks.[/p]
  • [p]Melee Combat: The knife is ineffective in a frontal assault. Use it for stealth takedowns from behind.[/p]
  • [p]Control Overview: Press Tab to open a menu with control hints (your character will be stationary while it's open).[/p]

  • [p]Content Creation: You are free to stream, record videos, and write reviews based on this version. I welcome any honest and objective feedback, both positive and negative.[/p]
  • [p]Please Remember: This is a test version of the prologue, which will form the basis of the future demo. Graphics, gameplay, UI—many elements are still being polished and improved.[/p]

The demo serves as the prologue to the main game.[/p][h3]The demo will include:[/h3][p]✔ A story-driven prologue.
✔ An introduction to the mechanics—from overcoming obstacles to dangerous trials in the sewer.
✔ Gradually increasing gameplay complexity and deeper immersion into the game’s lore.[/p][h3]Testing goals:[/h3][p]🔎 Identifying critical gameplay issues.
🎮 Evaluating the clarity of mechanics (additional hints or fixes may be needed).
🐞 Hunting for bugs and technical flaws.[/p][h3]Additional info:[/h3][p]✔ The interface and subtitles will be available in two languages—English and Russian. More localizations are planned for the future.
✔ Voice acting is currently available only in Russian.[/p][p]I’ve worked to make the prologue smooth: it gives players time to get familiar with the basics before ramping up the difficulty while gradually immersing them in the lore. This serves as preparation for the main story, which will unfold in an isolated military zone.[/p][h3]Head over to PANGIT’s Steam page and click "Request Access"![/h3][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]The testing date will be announced later, but I’m aiming for early autumn.[/p][h3]About the Developer[/h3][p]I’d like to introduce myself to new users and, first of all, share a bit about who I am—so you know the person behind the creation of PANGIT.[/p][p]My name is Pavel, and my pseudonym is DiezLife. I’ve been developing this game for over two years now. Though I’m working on the project alone, some aspects were implemented with the help of others. Everyone who contributed in any way (regardless of the scale) will be credited in the game.[/p][p]PANGIT is my first project, and it went through many concepts before taking its current form. I wanted the game to reflect my vision while still keeping it interesting for me. The main source of inspiration and motivation is my dream of creating my own game—my own virtual world with a story. In it, you’ll not only uncover fictional events but also, through dialogues with NPCs, hear stories—like a character’s childhood memories—that might actually be real events from my life.[/p][p]In other words, the idea was to make more than just a linear third-person shooter—something a little deeper than it might seem at first glance.[/p]
