[p]Firstly, thank you all so much for playing our demo![/p][p]We did not expect to have so many of you pick it up so fast, but we are very glad you are here![/p][p][/p][h2]What's been changed?[/h2][p]After watching some people play the demo, we have changed/fixed the following:[/p]- [p]Fixed a few spelling mistakes in roles, forecast being spelt 'forcast' in the weatherman as an example as a YouTube comment pointed out.[/p]
- [p]The tutorial has been reworked slightly to include the following information:[/p]
- [p]You can scroll on mouse and keyboard to resize the rubber brush size.[/p]
- [p]You can pick up and use a pen in the same way, using the scroll wheel to change its colour, and holding down the middle mouse button to access a quick change colour wheel.[/p]
- [p]You can hold and drag to create pins that can be placed and moved around on the board.[/p]
- [p]They can be coloured the same way as the pens.[/p]
- [p]Roles on the suspect list are called suspected roles.[/p]
- [p]The default pen and pin colour is now blue. [/p]
- [p]The colour order was changed to be more useful when scrolling.[/p]
- [p]The priest description has been reworked to be the following: "I announce "I am the Priest." When I am lying or tainted, I will announce something else."[/p]
- [p]The priest's codex entry now gives an example of what they might say when lying.[/p]
- [p]The mailman's codex entry now specifies that they can lie in one of the first or second halves of their announcement. [/p]
- [p]Runs have a much more exotic set of starting roles to pick from in later demo challenge modes.[/p]
- [p]Fixed a mistake that caused 7 roles to not appear. Be free, my beautiful hitman.[/p]
- [p]Fixed a bug that caused the quick change colour wheel not to appear correctly or at all.[/p]
- [p]Fixed a bug in a tutorial case that missed the priest from the suspect list.[/p]
- [p]Fixed a spelling mistake on the demo end screen.[/p]
- [p]Fixed a formatting issue on the stat menu screen.[/p]
- [p]Fixed a crash that could occur due to enough innocent characters being present.[/p]
- [p]We have been listening to feedback and plan to rework the Wife and the Mistress in the near future. [/p]
- [p]We also want to add some small text context popups to help reduce friction for people learning to play.[/p]
- [p]The ability to see normal roles announcement text in the breakdown is currently bugged and we are going to fix that next patch.[/p]
- [p]We want to add coloured string as tool on the left side, the idea would be that you can use string to connect pins together to help notate connections.[/p]
- [p]A rework for case generation is due soon to help correct the difficulty/complexity estimations and prevent more 50-50 scenarios.[/p]
- [p]A few bugs have been reported in the discord we plan to look into and address soon.[/p]
