Demo Version 0.0.0.23 Released - Auto Saving & Chutes

[h2]The demo has just been updated to version 0.0.0.23[/h2][p][/p][h3]Auto Saving:[/h3][p]The demo now has autosaving. You can configure it in the settings menu.[/p][p]Also, the amount of resources contributed to active Quests will now save/load properly.[/p][p][/p][h3]Chutes:[/h3][p]There are new buildable Chutes in the demo![/p][p][/p][p]Chutes include 5 main pieces and some alternate models that you can toggle by pressing "Q"[/p]
  • [p]Straight Down Chute[/p]
  • [p]Top Chute, used for connecting to conveyors or hoppers[/p]
  • [p]Bottom Chute, used for dropping onto conveyors from above[/p]
  • [p]Angled Chute[/p]

  • [p]Fixed crushed ore pieces sometimes getting stuck in the Ore Crusher[/p]
  • [p]Fixed floating building supports when destroying ore nodes that the supports were connected to[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Resources not being able to be grabbed by the magnet tool with mode "Resources not in Filters" if they were previously inside a filter while the filter was removed[/p]
  • [p]Fixed saying "Polished Ingot Gold" instead of "Polished Gold Ingot"[/p]
  • [p]Fixed duplication glitch while saving the game in build mode[/p][p][/p]

Demo Version 0.0.0.22 Released - Magnet Tool Modes

[h2]The demo has just been updated to version 0.0.0.22[/h2][p][/p][h3]Magnet Tool Modes:[/h3][p]You can now press "Q" to switch Magnet Tool modes! Currently, it can switch between grabbing everything, or only Resources (ore, ingots, etc) that are NOT inside any sorter filter baskets.[/p][p][/p][h3]Patch Notes:[/h3]
  • [p]Added ability to change Magnet Tool grab mode! Press "Q" to change the mode[/p]
  • [p]Added Held Item name to the hud above the controls text[/p]
  • [p]Updated Autominers to show their Possible Resources when you look at them[/p]
  • [p]Updated Autominer Possible Resources UI to match the rest of the hud[/p]
  • [p]Updated loading save files from the pause menu to automatically unpause the game[/p]
  • [p]Updated the Polishing Machine to be slightly faster[/p]
  • [p]Updated pause menu to use the new logo (however, the menu is still placeholder)[/p]
  • [p]Updated "Clear all physics objects" button text to specify that it excludes objects in filters[/p]
  • [p]Fixed small objects (crushed ore, diamonds) sometimes falling through the floor when dropped from high up[/p][p][/p]

Demo Version 0.0.0.21 Released - New Inventory System

[h2]The demo has just been updated to version 0.0.0.21[/h2][p][/p][h3]New Inventory:[/h3][p]This version includes a new Inventory system. You can press Tab to open your inventory.[/p][p](Note that the UI is just a placeholder and will likely be improved in the future)[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Patch Notes:[/h3]

  • [p]Added support for Super Ultrawide Monitors (Note: Some of the placeholder UI still looks a bit strange)[/p]
  • [p]Added new "Unstuck" button in the pause menu[/p]
  • [p]Added "Crouch" and "Sprint" to the list of controls in the settings menu (not rebindable yet)[/p]
  • [p]Fixed bug where items in your hotbar would get rearranged when loading a save file[/p]
[h3][/h3][p][/p][h3]A preview of what's next:[/h3][p]The demo is getting closer to being finished, so I started prototyping this Grabbing Arm Machine.[/p][p]It's unlikely to come to the demo, instead, it'll likely be included in the Early Access release (or possibly an early playtest)[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]There's still a few things we want to finish for the demo, mainly:[/p]

[h3]The demo has just been updated to version 0.0.0.20, which includes some FPS optimizations for super large factories.[/h3][p][/p][h3]Main changes: [/h3]
  • [p]Added "Turn On/Off All Autominers" buttons to the pause menu[/p]
  • [p]Added new sounds & effects to the Rolling Mill[/p]
  • [p]Added new sounds to the Sorting Conveyor[/p]
  • [p]Added Save/Loading support for the Dynamite explosion[/p]
  • [p]Updated Gold autominers to have a higher chance of getting Diamonds[/p]
  • [p]Increased maximum conveyor support length, fixes weird floating supports when building above the ravine area.[/p]
  • [p]Increased SoundPlayer pool size[/p]
  • [p]Fixed crushed ore sometimes sitting inside the blast furnace, but not getting processed by it[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where the Rolling Mill would stop working if you press "Clear all physics objects" while it's is processing a plate[/p][p][/p]

[h3]The demo has just been updated to version 0.0.0.19, which contains:[/h3]
  • [p]Added Save/Loading support for physics Ore Pieces[/p]
  • [p]Updated AutoMiner to remember it's On/Off state when loading save file[/p]
  • [p]Updated the Lamp Pole to be cheaper[/p]
  • [p]Fixed small building crate collisions being slightly smaller than the actual crate[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where your blast furnace could get infinite resources if you pressed "Clear all physics objects" when the furnace was overflowing[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Crushed Ore sometimes falling through the Ore Crusher, onto the floor below[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Ore Analyzer not saying if things are Polished, only if they're Dirt/Unpolished
    [/p]
[p]The highlight is new support for Saving/Loading physics ore pieces. This is a big change, so please let us know if you find any issues with it. We read all your feedback on Discord and the Steam Forums.
