The Start Screen Update

There is a brand new start screen for Ashen Destiny and it already looks a lot closer to what I always wanted. There will be new additions to the start screen each time I make more 3D models. Eventually it should look really amazing.

There has been a major update to capsule art of Ashen Destiny and it no longer has the stand in art. The new art work I have created really pops, I hope everyone likes it better than then original.

Graphics Update (Phase 1)
Hello Warlords!
[p]This update is "part one" of a large graphics overhaul, and only a few minor game changes. Check out the changes below![/p][p][/p]
 • [p]The main UI colors have changed to be more neutral and easy on the eyes.[/p]
 • [p]All provinces now have brand new meshes that look a bit more natural.[/p]
 • [p]All provinces now have a hand painted texture including cliff side textures. (Land props soon to come)[/p]
 • [p]The ocean now has sea foam when it collides with the provinces.[/p]
 • [p]The ocean now has underwater terrain features and a texture.[/p]
 • [p]The ocean colors have been made more transparent and rich with various shades of blue.[/p]
 • [p]Clouds have been completely remodeled and now cast shadows![/p]
 • [p]The in game lighting has changed to be more vibrant and the angle of lighting has been changed.[/p]
 • [p]\[Boats have been scaled up and the game will have more in the ocean at any given time now.[/p]
[p][/p]
Other Minor Changes
• [p]Giving food to increase population approval has now been seriously nerfed due to exploits of taxes.[/p]
 • [p]Penalties for setting tax to 30% and 50% have been drastically increased.[/p]
 • [p]Though this might not be a minor change... the attack damage calculations have been completely reworked for the battle fields. Players may notice the changes right away? [/p]

Dev Log #7 (Quality of Life)

Additions:
-The UI can now be scaled down in the Game Settings for both the normal game and the tutorial!
-The province UI now shows the total number of units you have in your army. Some stuff has been moved around for clearer interpretation.
-Added a Day counter in the Battle Map UI system at the bottom. Now you can tell when it's getting close to 30 days. (This is important because if 30 days is up then the battle is lost!)
-Cavalry units now have double movement points, they can go really far... really fast! This makes them not only fun to play but worth they gold they cost. Check them out!

Fixes:
-Rewarding generals only cost 50 gold at a time and now the tool tip reflects that.
-The button to add First Aid on your invasions has now been changed to 25 units per click as opposed to 50. This was a minor change but requested.
-Clouds have been edit to spawn less often and in fewer numbers. Some game object clean up has also been added in the background.
-When using the Move supplies or generals button when you only have 1 province, it used up a generals turn. This has now been fixed and will not use up a generals action point.
-Fixed an issue where the camera would be locked after pushing the "Approve" button when you try to assign units to general's.

In Game Bug Report Added

I have added a in game bug report that can be filled out without leaving the game. It can be found on the province map scenes in the options menu.

3 Bug Fixes:
-Some user reported tool tips flashing rapidly and blocking them from clicking buttons. This issue should now be resolved.
-One user reported camera movement issues where it would violently shake back and forth during movement. This issue should now be resolved.
-It was reported that the advisor message UI would have duplicate messages inside the text area. I think this issue may be resolved now, but I will wait for more feedback.
