Update 1.1.4 | Patch Notes

[p]Hello! I wanted to add a new way to read item descriptions without sacrificing in game time (and leaving yourself open to crawlers)[/p]
  • [p]NEW FEATURE: The ITEMS screen is now available inside the main menu and allows the player to read Item descriptions and LOGS in a safe area. It will always follow your current save so you must reach a checkpoint (or ending) with the item for it to show up.[/p]
  • [p]NEW OPTION: Motion Blur is now available. This allows you to toggle motion blur inside the cockpit.[/p]
  • [p]MISC: The game has been updated to the latest version of Unity 6, this should improve performance in some areas and maybe even fix some really weird edge cases I haven't tracked down yet.[/p]

Update 1.1.3 | Patch Notes

[p]Hello! I've seen some suggestions for some settings and thought I'd add them.[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]NEW OPTION: V Sync is now available. This activates V Sync that matches your monitors refresh rate.[/p]
  • [p]NEW OPTION: Reduced Screen Shake is now available. This reduces the intensity of all screen shakes in the game by about 25% of what they were, letting it be easier on the eyes for some people (and hopefully not cause motion sickness).[/p]
  • [p]BUG FIX: Moved one of the save spots in the Power Core to stop a potential soft lock.[/p]

Update 1.1.2 | Patch Notes

[p]Embarrassingly the last hotfix I released broke the infected mechs AND made the game impossible to complete due to a signal being clipped out of the map (oops).

I have fixed both these issues, really sorry about that! [/p][p][/p][p]Hopefully this one doesn't completely break the game![/p]

  • [p]Slightly increased the turn speed of the player mech.[/p]
  • [p]Greatly increased the amount of time it takes for The Spider to stop being afraid and move again.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed an issue where The Spider's unfreeze timer would continue to decrease even while the player was looking at it.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some map ambience not looping.[/p]

[h2]Intro[/h2][p]Hello everyone! I have been super happy to see the response to the game so far, I am glad everyone is enjoying it! Thank you for giving feedback in the community hub and reviews, it really helps me make the game a lot better (and fix bugs I tend to miss). Here's what this update changes:[/p][p][/p][h2]New Stuff[/h2]
  • [p]Added a map for the final area of the game and adjusted the environment to have a section of higher ground. This should help with fending off against the Spider.[/p]
  • [p]Added a prompt to one of the endings giving the player a clearer guide on what to do.[/p]
[h2]Balance[/h2]
  • [p]The Spider has been made slightly slower to allow for easier traversal around it.[/p]
  • [p]Reduced concurrent Infected Mech count in the last area from 2 -> 1 and increased time between enemy spawns on every map.[/p]
[h2]Fixes[/h2]
  • [p]Changed dialogue and report paper surrounding a certain late game enemy to follow more with the enemies behaviour. Giving a much clearer strategy.[/p]
  • [p]Stopped elevator shafts from not locking the player into them causing the player to fall out of the map.[/p]
