Demo update 0.6.2

[p]Hello Settings Tweakers![/p][p]We listened to your feedback and made a number of changes in the demo, especially to Wednesday, which felt a bit too difficult for many of you. We reduced the exploration part and removed confusing paths. This update also includes the usual tweaks, fixes, and a few narrative adjustments.[/p][p]Let us know what you think about these changes, here or on Discord![/p][p][/p]

  • [p]Tuesday:[/p]
    • [p]Adjusted the timers for NPCs with lanterns so you can encounter them more often[/p]
    • [p]Added a tip suggesting you should go to the beach before venturing into the maze[/p]
  • [p]Wednesday:[/p]
    • [p]Reworked level design: removed confusing paths and reduced exploration[/p]
    • [p]As a result, if your last save was in this area you may be transported back to the start of the level.[/p]
    • [p]Alex now has more thoughts about his boring work[/p]
    • [p]The world’s colors are slightly more washed out to reflect Alex’s feelings[/p]
    • [p]Changed a hint related to the second code[/p]
  • [p]Debug Info is now less verbose and some of its messages have been translated[/p]
  • [p]Cutscenes are a little shorter[/p]
  • [p]Updated credits[/p]
  • [p]Added a new Updates section in the main menu displaying release notes like this one[/p]
  • [p]Save game backups are now created every 5 minutes. Just in case ;-)[/p]
  • [p]The mini Options Screen shown on first launch now mentions that mouse input is not supported[/p]

  • [p]Fixed a blocker that could occur after reopening the Memory Inspector[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a potential blocker during the Wednesday chat sequence[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the music transition at the end of the demo[/p]
  • [p]Corrected various small text issues here and there[/p]
  • [p]The game now saves your exact position when exiting to the menu[/p]
  • [p]Debug info is no longer visible in screenshots generated during saves, preventing overlapping text[/p]

  • [p]Added a tip: select a value twice to quickly exit the settings screen[/p]

[p]Hi everyone![/p][p][/p][p]The demo launch was great, thank you all so much for the amazing feedback you’ve shared with us![/p][p][/p][p]We’ve just pushed an update with a handful of bug fixes and a few changes here and there. Here’s the release note:[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Version 0.6.0[/p][p][/p][p]Changes:[/p]
  • [p]A brand new menu screen[/p]
  • [p]The Credits screen is back, thanks again to our beta testers![/p]
  • [p]A hint has been changed on Day 3[/p]

  • [p]Your character will patiently wait for the game to finish loading before trying to move[/p]
  • [p]Achievement was sometimes unlocked even is the demo was not totally completed[/p]
  • [p]Prevent the character to have a weird scale when exiting the settings menu[/p]
  • [p]We made the mysterious appearance smoother (audio too)[/p]
  • [p]The alarm clock volume is now reduced[/p]
