Dig Island Update 0.1.8 - Bug Fixes & QoL Improvements

[p]Hello Survivors,[/p][p]We are rolling out Update 0.1.8, bringing you some highly requested quality-of-life improvements, gameplay adjustments, and crucial bug fixes. Here is everything new in this update.

  • [p]Explosive Power: Dynamites can now successfully break chunks![/p]
  • [p]Enhanced Survivor AI: Improved survivor behavior and reactions during reactor explosion.[/p]
  • [p]Crafting Balance: Reduced the clay bowl requirement for the Cyan Mix from 3 to 1.[/p]
  • [p]Early Game Scanning: Iron ore is now available to detect in the Level 1 Resource Scanner.[/p]

  • [p]Storage Capacity: The default slot count for shared storage has been increased to 20, and each upgrade now adds 10 additional slots.[/p]
  • [p]Limitless Storage: Shared storage can now be upgraded an infinite number of times.[/p]
  • [p]Save Info: Depth information has been added directly to the save slots on the "Load Game" screen.[/p]
  • [p]Scanner Memory: The Resource Scanner will now conveniently remember and continue from your last scanned resource.[/p]
  • [p]Improved Tooltips: Upgrade tooltips are now visible even when you are not holding the hammer.[/p]
  • [p]Naming Clarity: "Stone Ingot" and "Clay Ingot" have been renamed to "Stone Brick" and "Clay Brick" to make more sense.[/p][hr][/hr]
[h2]Visuals & Animations[/h2]
  • [p]Drill Animation: Improved the drill animation with visible drill tip rotation.[/p]
  • [p]Dynamic Lighting: The lighting of the attachment device now reacts dynamically according to the operating status of the stations.

[h2]Bug Fixes & Performance[/h2]
  • [p]Background Stability: Fixed an issue where the game could crash while running in the background after using Alt-Tab.[/p]
  • [p]Smooth Saving: Implemented a fix for a server-side save issue that could cause the game to freeze.[/p]
  • [p]Dig Site Optimization: Fixed performance issues experienced in large excavated areas.[/p]
  • [p]Placement Fix: Fixed an issue preventing proper object placement on environmental objects.[/p]
  • [p]Campfire UI: Fixed an issue where the shared storage UI could incorrectly appear when rapidly interacting with a campfire.[/p]
  • [p]Station Interaction: Fixed a bug that caused stations to get stuck in an "in use" state when opened and closed in quick succession.
