New game mode: Challenges

[p]Hello everyone,[/p][p][/p][p]In normal game mode, the focus is more on automation than on mathematics (you will easily get the numbers you are asked for).[/p][p]This is because the game is really about automating the number generation processes and finding the most optimal solution.[/p][p][/p][p]However, I have been working on a game mode that focuses more on mathematics, and it is now available (in the demo): Challenges.[/p][p][/p][p]The format is easy to understand: you will have six numbers (different in each challenge) and the operations of addition, subtraction, and multiplication, and you must obtain a number between 100 and 999.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]In addition, your score will be saved based on how many buildings (conveyor belts don't count) you have used to try to achieve the minimum number of operations and numbers used.[/p][p][/p][p]I hope you enjoy this new game mode.[/p][p][/p][p]Finally, this update also comes with some QoL improvements:[/p][p][/p][p]- You can now place one building on top of another, and it will replace it.[/p][p]- Added camera movement by moving the mouse to the edges.[/p][p]- Added CTRL+C / CTRL+V for copying and pasting.[/p][p]- Improved performance.[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you very much.[/p]

Demo - Patch 0.1.3

[p]Hi all,[/p][p]I've been working hard on the demo these days and I've got some changes for you. [/p][p][/p][p]In addition to fixing some bugs, the most important changes are:[/p][p]- New functionality to delete by dragging with the right click.[/p][p]- Buildings can now be connected to each other contiguously without the need for a conveyor belt between them.[/p][p]- Three different visual themes; switch between dark mode, light mode, and a mix of both (still in beta, UI changes pending). Demo - Patch 0.1.2

[p]Hi all,[/p][p][/p][p]yesterday I updated the demo to add a new building: the bridge.[/p][p][/p][p]This patch is to fix some bugs regarding the bridge and also the framerate for the numbers.[/p][p][/p][p]Additionally I added a beta feature for automatic placing a bridge when you cross two conveyor belt paths, so no need to place it manually.[/p][p][/p][p]Both, the bridge and the auto-bridge feature are still under test so if you find any issue with them please let me know.[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you again for your support.[/p]

New building: "Bridge" and bug fixing

[p]Hi all,[/p][p]yesterday I released the demo for my upcoming game Another Game About Automation. First of all, thank you very much to everyone who is trying it out and giving me your feedback.[/p][p][/p][p]First, I would like to announce that the first update to the demo (just released) includes a new building that you won't need to unlock.[/p][p][/p][h3]Bridge[/h3][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]This new building will allow you to intersect two paths, which is very useful for large and complex logistics chains.[/p][p][/p][p]In the future, I would like to include a feature so that this bridge is automatically placed when you cross two paths with the conveyor belt.[/p][p][/p][p]Last but not least, some of you have reported a bug in the last quest of the demo where it kept restarting after completing the 33's delivery.[/p][p][/p][p]This should now be fixed, so the next time you complete it, it will not restart.[/p][p][/p][p]If you have any bugs or suggestions, please let me know.[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you all very much again.[/p]
