Demo now available!

[p]Scholar Adventure: Mystery of Silence will be part of the upcoming Steam Next Fest in October, but its creators have already made the demo available to the public. Developed by Making Enemies and published by DevilishGames, the game is a classic-style point-and-click adventure that will transport players to a mysterious abbey where nothing is as it seems.

In this first installment of the Scholar Adventure saga, players will play as William, a young writer searching for inspiration for his first novel. His journey takes him to a remote abbey whose monks have taken a vow of silence. What begins as a simple literary quest soon turns into a chilling enigma: within its walls lies a secret that should never have been uncovered.
[/p][p]Developed with PowerQuest—the tool also used to create recent hits such as The Drifter—and inspired by the graphic adventures of the 1990s, Mystery of Silence combines dark, detailed pixel art with a deep narrative and touches of black humor. Players will explore atmospheric environments, solve environmental puzzles, and use the objects they find along the way to uncover the abbey’s hidden secrets.
