Controller Support Update (1.0.0.1)
Welcome to our first update post 1.0!
In this update, 1.0.0.1, we have made major changes to the game to support controllers, along with adding controller icons that support multiple types of controllers. We currently support Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo, and Steam Deck controller icon sets.
ALL Game Worlds now have full controller support! Minigolf, Accelerate, Ball Race, Zombie Massacre, Virus, Little Crusaders, and SDNL now have full controller support, along with force feedback! Plaza activities such as Casino, Arcade, Bowling, Trivia, and Billiards all have controller support as well now!
Controller force feedback was improved across the game, adding rumble to various aspects of gameplay for all the Game Worlds. In Ball Race, bumpers will rumble like a bumper should, in Minigolf you'll feel the slight taps of the railings and the HIO rocket, and in Little Crusaders you will feel the Dragon's roar!
We added controller support to the menus, so you can enter and play game worlds, browse workshop maps, enter your condo or other condos, customize yourself, buy items, or check your collection book progress all with your controller.
This was a huge undertaking and project! We're still working on controller support for the hot bar/player emotes. We are also working on full compatibility with the Steam Deck and will have more news on that soon!
About two weeks ago, we started our first public beta as a test run to help get feedback on this 1.0.0.1 update. The beta testing went very well and we'll continue to use public betas going forward.
We’ll have more formal announcements that these are going on in the future now that we’ve done this initial try!

[h2]The Tower Unite Soundtrack Has Been Updated![/h2]
The soundtrack has been updated with 62 new tracks, including 24 full songs! These include unreleased music from the Arcade, Zombie Massacre, SDNL, Accelerate, Stores, Trivia and other Plaza tracks, and more!

Controller Support Update!

- Added new items to Asteroid Belt: Jester Hat, Solar System Tube, Cape, Fire Extinguisher Jetpack, Prince Hat
- Added new items to Rob's Imports: Trophy (generic prop trophy item), Key (Physics), Key Lock (Static), Key Lock (Padlock)
- Added new items to Oasis: Floating Wooden Platform

Changes
- Added Return To Menu option at end of a game world match (during votemap)
- Smoothed out Bowling and Billiards movement when watching others
- Workshop maps now color by their difficulty tag throughout the menu selections
- Improved Workshop browser search times
- Added "Created By Friends" and "Liked By Friends" tabs to Workshop browser
- Friend List: Join button now changes to a locked icon when your friends are in a Singleplayer/Private Condo
- Condo: Added new Condo Materials: Nightclub Screen (Greyscale), Slippery Metal
- Condo: Condo materials Flesh, Flesh (Moving), and Blood now use blood surface type
- Improved Plaza mini-map icons
- Reduced volume of minigame magnum
- Ball Race SDK: Added IO event OnPopped to the spike item
- Ball Race SDK: Added IO event OnPopped when a ball gets popped by a pop volume
- Minigolf SDK: OnStart IO event now activates when you are using test mode for easier testing
- Ball Race SDK: OnStart IO event now activates when you are using test mode for easier testing

- Fixed issues where wearable colors would sometimes not apply or save

- Accelerate - Criss Cross Rapids: Added Out Of Bounds wall to last turn of Criss Cross Rapids to prevent players getting stuck
- Minigolf - SDK: Fixed collision on the Minigolf cup to prevent balls falling out the bottom when scaled up
- Minigolf - SDK: Fixed various Flag holes having incorrect collisions
- Minigolf - SDK: Fixed Minigolf cup piece not having collision for the cup when first spawned in
- Minigolf - Nostalgia: Prevented players getting stuck on edge of Hole 17's flag hole
- Plaza - Minigames: Fixed Mouse Sensitivity being too low after finishing Plaza Minigames while scoped in
- Condos - Vehicles now respect "Movement Items" rule toggle
- Fixed item tag tooltips staying on after closing the store menus
- Disabled spray key in Typing Derby
- Fixed weapons switching when tabbed out and using scroll wheel
- Fixed popcorn material being busted
- Fixed certain jetpack sounds not playing (specifically Gold Jetpack and Turbine Jetpack)
- Minigolf: Fixed visual issues when switching to spectator mode in Minigolf (mainly affects Nostalgia and fixes the flickering light issue)
- Plaza: Fixed issues where respawning while in the Arcade would unstream the Arcade interior
- Fishing: Fixed pufferfish particles
- SDNL: Fixed sliding being tied to FPS
- Fixed jetpack CTRL movement being tied to FPS
- Fixed jetpacks not re-attaching to players correctly sometimes (when players go out of range and back again)
- Fixed jetpacks not always hiding when players are out of range
- Fixed melon spirits not always hiding when players are out of range
- Minigolf - SDK: Fixed launcher items colliding with inventory traces/copycat when dragging/duplicating them
- Ball Race - SDK: Fixed bumper item colliding with inventory traces/copycat when dragging/duplicating them
- Ball Race - SDK: Fixed attractors radius preview colliding with inventory traces
- Fixed a bug where pressing ESC while setting a key would exit the key binding menu
- Minigolf: Fixed not being able to open the customize menu while the ball is moving
- Minigolf: Fixed mouse cursor showing while using a gamepad
- Ball Race: Fixed not being able to customize your ball while the scoreboard is open
- Workshop SDK: Fixed workshop model "no collide" setting not working for team games like SDNL, Virus, Little Crusaders
- Workshop SDK: Fixed SDNL test mode playing the announcer sequence when it should just skip that
Optimizations
- Various LOD changes in Plaza
- Condo IO: Optimized buttons and added IO inputs to all button items. Added new Rate Limit setting
- Optimized various things with Fishing to reduce stutters
