Jingle Jam 2025!

We are so happy to announce that we are a part of the Jingle Jam 2025 Games Collection this year!
[p][/p][p]Jingle Jam is a fundraiser to help out life-changing charities! The Jingle Jam crew will be hosting fundraising streams for 2 weeks so check it out and spread the word to help out these great causes!![/p][p][/p][p]This year the Jingle Jam is raising money for Autistica, Become, CALM, Make-A-Wish, The Trevor Project, The Grand Appeal, War Child, and World Wildlife Fund! [/p][p][/p][p]A big group of games (including Tower Unite) are included in the Jingle Jam games collection, spanning all sorts of different genres![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]The Jingle Jam will be going on from December 1st (TODAY!!!) until December 15th, 2025 (ending 08:59 AM GMT). Dev Log for November 18th, 2025

[p]Hello everyone and welcome to the Tower Unite Dev Log for November 18th, 2025![/p][p][/p][p]As has been the case in our past couple of Dev Logs, we’ve been hard at work on a project outside of Tower and are near the point of finally giving everyone the inside scoop on it! We appreciate everyone’s patience and hope you all have been having fun in Tower in the mean time.[/p][p][/p][p]But, in terms of Tower Unite development, we’ve been able to tackle various parts of the game since the last dev log, so let’s get into that, along with other TU events![/p][p][/p][h2]November 2025 Condo Contest - Free Build[/h2][p][/p][p]We have a Condo Contest ending very soon! It’s a free build contest so participants can submit a build with any theme they like. Check out the entries, rules, and prizes here![/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]TU DEVELOPMENT[/h2][p]Work on our side project is wrapping up, and we’re really really excited to share it with you soon! We’ve been very busy doing the final touches on it. Unfortunately, while we didn’t intend for it to affect Tower development at all, we got very passionate about the project and put a lot of heart in into.[/p][p][/p][p]Now that the bulk work is done with it, we’ll be back to Tower development. Keep in mind that a lot of the stuff we made on our side project has already turned into new Tower items and we’ll continue to pair the two projects together. We appreciate everyone’s patience.[/p][p][/p][p]We’re eager to get back into Tower development with Arcade: Phase 3, Accelerate SDK, Cooking, and other roadmap objectives as soon as we can. As you saw in previous developer logs, we’ve already made a lot of progress on these.[/p][p][/p][p]Nuclearxpotato has been on a roll with a bunch of fixes and improvements to Tower Unite in the mean time, so we wanted to shout him out! The team’s been doing some major fixes and other developments as well, which we’ll go over too.[/p][p]So, let’s catch up since last time and see what’s been going on![/p][p][/p][h2]Game World Polish[/h2][p]We’re continuing with updates to Virus & SDNL! These include both visual polish and changes to weapons and features of the games. Here’s some of what we’ve been working on:[/p]

[p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Condo Fixes[/h2][p]Various fixes were made to the Condo system. A major optimization to I/O was completed, which will make I/O connections run more efficiently.[/p][p]There were also many fixes to materials and collision issues. Some notable item additions include:[/p]
  • [p]a new version of the Soda Vending Machine item was added (with new variants)[/p]
  • [p]adjustments to the scale and art of the Kitchen Counter items.[/p]
  • [p]as well as the addition, updates, and fixes to the Victorian item set, added with the Halloween update[/p]
[p][/p][h2]Contest Posters Added[/h2][p][/p][p]In case you missed it, in Hotfix 1.1.1.2, we finally added the posters that were made during the Workshop Rental Store Poster Art contest! We’re so happy to finally have them in game and hope you guys have been able to check them out too.[/p][p]They’re located all around the store where we had space![/p][p][/p][h2]Early Access Items Added[/h2][p]Another addition you might have missed was the Early Access items, which were added in Hot Fix 1.1.1.2. These items are distributed automatically if you played the game during its Early Access period![/p][p][/p][h2]Upcoming Fun![/h2][p]We have some exciting stuff planned for December, so keep an eye out for that! [p]For the players who played Tower Unite during its Early Access period, we have added a few new exclusive items as a thank you for playing and contributing to Early Access![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]These 4 fun little items will be automatically given to players who played Tower during its Early Access period when they launch Tower Unite.[/p]

End of Halloween Events
[p]As the spooky season starts to end, so will our Halloween celebrations :(. Halloween events will end on November 14th, so make sure you hop on before then to collect your Halloween items![/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Rental Store: Community Posters!
[p]We've also updated the Rental Store in the Condo Hub to include community-made posters from the August/September 2025 Art Contest! Again, thank you all for participating! We included every poster that was submitted from the contest![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Vending Machine Updated
[p]The vending machine got a little update. You can now choose between two different types of vending machine styles and also adjust the vending machine labels to make them canvasable. There's also new soda types.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Halloween 2025! Part 2! (1.1.1.2)

Nimbus Art Pass & Bonus Level

Nimbus was our first Ball Race map, and it has gotten some love finally! The artwork for the tiles, objects, and more have been redone and we've added a bonus level that was missing from Nimbus.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Condo Optimizations
[p]We went through a lot of the systems in Condo IO and optimized them to improve performance for Condos that have intense usage of Condo IO. We're hoping the optimizations we did will reduce CPU usage overall.[/p][p][/p]
