v0.37 - New gold numbers + Mini Roadmap
v0.37 is released!
[p][/p][p]Siegeturtle is a game that looks simple but has many hidden mechanics that make it increasingly complex as you progress.[/p][p]A couple of improvements have been made after I watched LadyShelab play my game, which has been awesomely inspiring.[/p][p]The full changelog is at the end but I hope this makes it easier for new people to understand the game.[/p][p][/p][p]I did make a change: Since I did new damage numbers in v0.33, I wanted to improve the gold texts too, so I have done it this update! This makes gold numbers shine like gold :)[/p][p][/p][p]Roadmap
[p]The next few updates will focus on improving progression![/p][p][/p][h3]v0.38 will reduce early game costs[/h3][p]This update will introduce several improvements to the early game progression, such as having Lv 0 INT and VIT enhancements unlock at Level 50 instead of 100, making the first upgrade cost about 10% of its current cost. Existing players will also unlock a new level of enhancements for these two stats.[/p][p][/p][h3]v0.39 will add a new ability: 'Continuous Clicks'[/h3][p]This allows you to hold to click enemies, without having to stress your fingers, and upgrading the skill makes it click faster.[/p][p][/p][h3]v0.40 will add a new skill: Shell Care[/h3][p]HP regen has been a bottleneck in early game and if you don't unlock the overpowered 'Dolphin Blessing' skill, you tend to struggle much more. So I will introduce a skill that will increase HP regen passively. Since this is a passive, the effect is weaker than the dolphin blessing buff.[/p][p][/p][h3]v0.41* (?) - New enhancement skills[/h3][p]Enhancing attributes is expensive, so 2 new skills will be added - one to decrease gold cost, and one to decrease attribute requirement to unlock enhancement levels. This gives you more flexibility and strategy on how you want to pick your skills, depending on what your current bottleneck is! - [p]First distance objective reduced: 20m -> 10m to encourage dying[/p]
- [p]Add tutorial ring to add Skill Points if SP spent is 0[/p]
- [p]Add tutorial ring to wear equipment during equipment objective[/p]
- [p]Hovering on companion cards now show skill description, rather than just the skill icon[/p]
- [p]SP description now says it can be obtained from hiring companions[/p]
- [p]Dungeon bosses no longer stop area bosses from spawning[/p]
- [p]Fix wrong autocast: OFF message when it should say ON[/p]
